And FORR is definitely the best one so far, since all of them are also new artwork instead of just the regular one stretched. I'm still disappointed that all the FORR cards they've made so far are nostalgia bait for classic Yugioh monsters. Where's SRM and Dragias? Those are supposed to be the face of Rush, not Charmers or Harpie Lady.

Man I miss Go Rush. It was like the last long running anime with no manga to spoil it so it was fun guessing what comes after. It's too bad the industry is now mostly adaptations and most of them aren't even fully adapted either.Eventually people will realize that their inner soul is actually missing what they used to dismiss as "filler". Anime is at it's best when the studios are free and can do whatever, instead of strictly animating manga pages.

It's a combination of AI tools, photoshop to fix the coloring and other minor details and then upscaling. In very rare cases I had to reconstruct a card from game sources or super bad bad proxies. And in others I've had to fish for some of their gameplay videos because some ORR are only posted there (and none of their social media) like this one

But maybe I'd fear Konami thinking that you're trying to make unofficial proxies to print them out, since the watermarks exist precisely to try to make it harder for people to pirate the cards. So if you're going to post them somewhere, I'd strongly suggest doing it anonymously.

Compare that to any of the Yugioh series that is fully original (except GX, which is arguably 100% filler due to insisting on being a "sequel") and you can tell that in those others there was a plan and every arc leads somehwere. The DM anime is just an awful adaptation of a great manga.

He learned compassion from Yugi, he collected the Egyptian God Cards, and he's ready to follow the instructions that he learned from Marik in order to unlock his memories and fulfill his destiny. It's way too late in the story to have him have to learn again what he already learned near the beginning of his journey. It's completely idiotic to do that just for the sake of some cheap melodrama. At that point in the story he wouldn't even think of risking someone's life for a duel with no stakes. And Mai had it even worse. The last we see of her in the anime is her trying to murder Joey just to feel better about herself. Thanks, DM anime! And all of this for a shitty arc that wasn't worth telling because it's boring as all hell and has absolutely no relevance to the story. What a massive waste.

But according to the notes on that concept art, the bells on the staff are made from dragon scales and have a healing effect and her gear is made of materials from high rank dragons that allow her to beat low rank dragons. In comparison, the Stella and Shannah notes describe all of their equipment as being the lowest tier, so they're probably novices and don't usually fight dragons unless they're those tiny bug-looking ones in the artwork of Shannah's card. Stella also most likely didn't take the dragon egg with the intention of raising a baby dragon. She was likely going to sell it, but it ended up hatching before she could do that.

>>568059302Yeah, pretty much. The setting of this theme definitely feels inspired by Monster Hunter in the same way that Sparkhearts is like Atelier. I don't have a ton of experience with Monster Hunter and only really played the Wii U version (MH3, I think?) for a little bit years ago. But from what I remember, you go on hunts and gather materials from the monsters you kill in order to make new, more powerful gear. And that seems to be what's going on here. There's also some other very obviously RPG-inspired system at play here where both Stella and Shannah have bronze gear while Astel has Patina gear obtained by upgrading Bronze gear multiple times, which seems to make it as effective as Silver tier gear. Not sure if that's also a Monster Hunter reference, but I've seen it in some RPGs. Mostly MMOs and gachas, where you sometimes combine multiple gear of the same rarity to upgrade it.
