Even if it is tagilla he's not nearly as scary as he used to be. I almost always immediately run out and right towards the med offices. There are spawns in there so you'll probably get into a fight, but you also may not. It's better than sitting inside gate 4 waiting to be pushed. Though you should also have the factory key on you so you can just extract there whenever that shit happens anyway

Speaking of night factory for some reason they changed the boxes position in the long hallway underground near cellars. Now you can look into it from the water side when previously it was 95% blocked off. How many other small changes do they do we never notice? I only know because I've played like 500 raids of night factory and have memorized it

Ok if there's any chads here, I am humbly requesting advice or tips on how to improve at PvP in this game because I suck and its getting me down because I can't do anything in this game apart from spawn in scramble to do my quests, and scurry to extract praying I don't cross paths with anyone. I am also dead broke because I cannot stay alive in a raid long enough to loot and extract.

I think these are my main issues if any gigachads have any tips on how to work on/overcome these

Majority of the time I literally have no idea we're I'm being shot from, I sort of get a general direction from the bullet noises but I struggle to actually sight who is shooting me because the visual clutter on the map makes it hard to actually see where they're at

I come from R6 siege where the guns are very static and rigid, so whenever I'm in a fight in tarkov and I'm trying to aim and shoot, my PMC is waving his gun around like he has spaghetti arms, and while I'm trying to line up the shot I'm already sprayed to death by gigachad

I have no idea when I'm supposed to do one or the other, if I try and slow it down, hold an angle on someone they push me and drop me before I can even get a shot off, if I play fast/try and push, I end up just getting sprayed by someone holding an angle before I can even get my gun up.
The only kills I have in this game are from when I've had the complete drop on someone who hasn't noticed me, I don't think I've won many straight gun fights.

alright let me drop you some straight facts here anon: the really good people don't primarily kill people by visuals in this game, that's a rookie trap. don't get me wrong, visuals play a role, obviously you need to see your target to kill them, but you gotta understand that what is more important is the stuff BEFORE visual engagement:

>positioning
>angles
>AUDIO
>pre-firing

so if we both spawn in say, factory, and i hear a certain footstep sound, i can mentally deduce that you spawned at X position, meaning you are likely to go down Y pathway, and therefore, i just need to prefire Z hallway to get the kill. classic example is footsteps on factory office area and the idea is to prefire a few rounds for a bite at the common angle people run to 9 times out of 10 coming up on stairs or something, because i can hear you before i see, and i can mentally deduce your probable positioning

it's lame as hell but that's just how the game is. the last part is visuals because if i can see you, you can see me, which is why people peek and run, reposition optimally due to map knowledge and such

my advice? honestly ask yourself if you are okay dying and dying again because pvp is going to be pure pain to learn. yeah try pve first but be warned, you can pick up and learn bad habits like running everywhere for example, does not translate. pve is good for map knowledge and familiarity of armor/weapons/etc. but not actual combat skills

also i wouldn't bother with top tier armor or anything immediately since you would just be giving it all away for a while. you want to get good at CQB? try arena btw, good exp, loot, transfers

so yeah basically you gotta rethink how you think FPS games because tarkov kinda works backwards where visual confirmation is the last thing you wanna do

Water is 12k and an iskra costs a syringe for barter. The crackers are never worth it. If food is that big of an issue and you aren't level 15 for the flea just scav streets and hit some food stores, interchange with goshan, or woods with usec/medcamp. You should always be shoving sugar into your secure container because it is worth a lot and you can eat it down to 1/70 and still get the full value out of it turning into moonshine later.

Enforcer is just an RPD vehicle because there's no reason to use anything else on it except for fun. I seriously hope BSG goes from top to bottom and reworks arena's balance because it's nonsensical as fuck.

I don't have a lot of radar boxes, so I decided to use a killa helmet to place them and minimize my losses.
I've been playing 95% of the time with comtac 5/6s since 1.0.
And I gotta say, using a chunky helmet with a proflex made me realize how many people with similar loadouts are probably cheating.
You can't fucking hear anything, and everything is so loud holy shit.

Honestly SBiH on GZ was pretty easy for me and actually pretty fun. A fair number of super dead raids, but it was decent fun doinking random people. One of my raids I killed "the girlfriend" because she stopped for a millisecond to pick up a can of tarcola and her squad hunted my ass down like a fucking dog it was hilarious.

Just do what I did and constantly have ammo, gunpowder, etc. crafting. If you cycle through ammo types you can pretty much always have 40+ pen ammo in whatever caliber you're using that day.

Nah I just work from home so I can set my open my game up a few times a day to restart crafts. They really need some kind of mobile app or a way to queue up multiple crafts in a row. There's really no reason for you to need to constantly need to babysit your game for crafts.
