I love the story and the characters but I just don't care about the game play outside of SA and anchovy mode. Forced daily dungeons in story mode content just sucks.

With regards to Misato, Akari, and Fubuki, when it comes to love triangles, it’s a common thing for girls to also enjoy the prim-and-proper guy versus the tough-and-edgy guy vying for the affection of a meek girl, that being Akari in this case. Think Team Edward versus Team Jacob from way back when. It hits the same notes for them, on top of being free from the ‘you’ll want a baby later’ thing Maeda tends to add in the middle of ships he writes. Even without ships, girls aren’t as competitive or into meta, so their tastes can vastly differ from male players. 31F is mainly forgotten save for Inori, but their aesthetic hits well when it comes to female players. Look to less popular characters like Fubuki, Yotsuha, Carole or Maruyama. The players who like them tend to be girls. Even Megumi, the lowest ranking 31A member, appeals more to girls. The most prolific Byakko artist is a girl.
