/v/ros, I can't really get into Rome II - it just feels very simplistic I finished a single campaign today and it was a more of chore than usual with these games.I played more of Atilla before then as well as newer titles, but trying to go back is fucking painful. There aren't many buildings but lot of them are sort of pointless anyway, the way edicts and agents work is shit. Missing QoL like keeping diplomacy window sorted. The whole mood of campaign and campaign map mechanics are just worse version of Atilla It just feels this weirdly sanded down map-painting, with a lot of mechanics that don't complement each other and retarded AI. Very repetitive and the victory conditions are even more retarded than TWW3.I have hard time putting into words what exactly I don't like about it but at same time I never really understood why people complained about floaty, arcadey battles until now.
