Bots were introduced to help ensure that players would be able to score wins more often.

the issue is all the options, do you want the normal mode or the turbo ultra only sweats play and event then half of them are still in pubs mode
game should be builds and zero build solo or squads and that's it, ranked only for BR for the people that want to see funny number go up, then you can try to tweak matchmaking, no algorithm on the planet is going to make a good queue out of 200 players in a server
it's not that people will leave if they lose, look at how many people keep playing league and counter strike despite losing 10 matches straight, they'll leave if some sperg flies around beaming them with no counterplay thanks to medallions bosses and rivalry shops selling overpowered guns
