You can get them from tasks, from just about every event, from daily logins, from energy run, from the various shops, from spellbinding sequences, and so on. so was this castle chronicles story really a previous diary story? mc makes no mention of the diary and there's 16 cutscenes, which is far more than the like 8 assigned to a diary story. there's also obvious breaks in conversation for where tasks would start, but then the conversation just continues.
