You can kill tanks and other heavies, but you can also ignite chaff. It's just worse at killing heavies than thermites, worse at killing chaff than other chaff clear grenades, and their physics is a bit autistic. You get six of them. You can never really go wrong with pyros. It's just that sometimes other grenades are better for your build.

I get the EAT because sometimes you need an antitank when you're running something like the MG or whatever. I get the expendable napalm (to an extent) because you can turn an entire patrol or chokepoint into carbon. I get the leveler because it is a "to whom it may concern" and fucks over superheavies like factory striders, vox engines, and sometimes kinda bile titans. I don't really get the usecase for the bullet storm. I rarely if ever struggle with lots of chaff or mediums and I don't know what support weapon you'd pair it with to cover those weaknesses. I guess something like the cluster rocket or the recoilless rifle? Even then, you have a primary weapon for that.At the very least the weapon is still pretty good and is a fantastic thing to use while you or your squadmates are waiting for their gear to come off of cool down if they died across the map. One time the squad I was with that was in a group of three and a lone diver had the group of three die and they used the one living guy's bullet storm calldowns till they got their gear back and it was like four buzzsaws ripping the illuminate apart.
