So the first hour-ish of 007 First Light is... not great. The opening mission in particular is really, really bad. There's so many of those 'AAA crevice crawls' and yellow paint rock climbing segments (complete with that scripted fake oh-I-almost-fell moment you've seen a hundred times) in a row that you'd think the game was a Duty Calls style shitpost mocking the industry. Bond gets out of freezing water and the game stresses that he has to change clothes. Makes sense. He does so by... just tossing a parka he finds over his soaking clothes. Shit man, this is by the Hitman devs whose whole thing is swapping outfits with the enemy, how did they fuck up this detail?The game loves using QTEs in cutscenes, right out the 360 era. Except the button prompts are flat white and don't stand out from the background at all, so you just get blindsided by them. After the third one that I barely registered in time, I just turned on the auto-QTE accessibility option (cheat). The tutorial ends with Bond just pressing a button on a detonator that blows the island they're all on sky high. The game zooms out to show how huge the blast is. Bond escapes this unscathed (with eight rescued hostages in tow)... somehow. It just kind of awkwardly cuts to a month later with Bond entering MI6 HQ for the first time. Anyway, now for the job interview part of the game which is ten minutes of holding forward and getting nagged at. Then the MI6 training... with more nagging and no gameplay. Then you get the driving tutorial where the driving is less realistic (and in-depth) than Super Mario Kart on the SNES. The Aston Martin stand-in has as much actual physics as the trucks from Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. And that's where I've paused the game to write this post. It's actually crazy that the devs behind Hitman are behind this. The controls and gamefeel are there but the content is just crap. Hopefully it improves when I finally get to a "real" mission.. several hours into the game.

They could also use a PSU tester on your PSU but fair warning from my own experience, it doesn't always help you detect if the unit is faulty.
