It's soooo fucking funny to me that people think NIKKE'S Commander is a playboy that gets all the girls because he is a badass and such because they saw 1 (One) screenshot of last year's bunny event, where he had to put on an act that he himself didn't felt comfortable doing it.Meanwhile, the commander starts off as literally nobody, no one knew him he was just a number for the Central Government throw away in another battlefield for propaganda usage, reminder, his first mission was a NIKKE rescue mission that clearly only exists to push the narrative+.That the Central Government cares about NIKKEs, that mission was never going to be a success, even Anis points out that the rescue missions only are successful <10% of the time.The Commander is someone wwho cares about the NIKKEs because he sees them as people first, and care about them in a deep level, no wonder every NIKKE gravitates towards him because he doesn't go "heh another to my collection", he sees them as equals without second intentions

Then they wanted to "soldify" the lore, which meant every important character was related to other character and every big event related to everyone in the game. This made the world feel tiny and suddenly all these characters felt like they were cranky neighbors yelling at each other from the other side of the street. Same thing happened with Nikke: all of the Counters now are inheritors of all the big past players, every side character is equally involved with each other, and the only big mystery left (SKK's past) will surely be something retarded with some random existing character being "the girl in the past" and her backstory retroactively adapted to just close that plot point. Oh, and also there's a 70 year gap where nothing fucking happened except than an elevator with Rikkes crashed down or something. Overexplaining with little planning is fucking up the lore.
