picked up the safekeeper augment in night stella. this is also why it feels like there is no endgame, from level 1 you can immediately queue into stella and the higher levels with the better loot with no real new dangers, riventide is the only map that feels properly dangerous with the amount of arc that spawn but the other maps are a joke. stella especially because whats going to kill you? some weak ass pops or shredders which are easily killed via a corner?There is no proper progression you might get with a typical game. Moving from low level stuff to high level stuff. Not just in extraction shooters but in any game with gear, high levels means you need high gear and high leveled character to survive the danger and get out alive. So I think some things should be changed. No freekits on higher end levels. Higher end levels with a lot of loot, like Stella should have ABMM disabled. Not all high end levels, just levels like Stella where loot is everywhere. BPs can not be safe pocketed unless you have the safekeeper augment. No more people running naked and not playing the game. They can try going naked but theyll have a hell of a time making it out alive with no ABMM and BPs disabled. If they do so, then good on their skill to escape but no more easy and free passes to simply suicide with the best loot in the game. Have to earn it or get the proper augment.

The most interesting engagements I've had in this game have all been in mixed lobbies where you can't fully let your guard down and trust anyone but the game also doesn't just devolve into pure pvp. There's no hard mechanic locking you into these factions, it's purely an opt in PvP flag. PvE players can wear colors that signify neutrality and keep them in the ABMM system.PvP players get to duke it out and still PvE farm in Chungartha.PvE players get a slightly less illusional illusion of safety.Rats can still betray people by wearing false colors and risk getting sent to Ratkanda with a slightly more aggressive, but still abusable ABMM system.Everybody wins.

Is the matchmaking broken or something? I've always been in friendly lobbies before now, but it definitely dropped me into a kill on sight lobby just now and I don't have the play history for that. One guy took a shot at me randomly, I escaped, there was a pvp gunfight happening that I avoided, and I got ratted by a different guy at extract when i decided to just leave. So it can't have been just one bad actor, I was the one out of place having not come to that round expecting pvp.
