I don't have any particular feelings on FD cars because I swapped to the Urkelmobile on someone's suggestion and it's worked a charm I find it a lot easier than those, although the RX-7 was probably the easiest of the lot to use. I love this series but there are so many EASY tweaks they could make that improves the user experience.One example, horizon promo pictures. They innovated in 4/5 with the quick picture (RB), but you still need to go into photo mode to do it which is really fucking annoying after 600 times, and it can even cuck you out of situations when the game is between lobby sessions. Why not put a "quick picture" button on the dpad or whatever that snaps a picture and doesn't require an extra menu.
