Coredust is a bottleneck for everything but that isn't to say the other two are not needed. Credits become a problem when you level up gear on nikkes and you want to level up. If you burst gen nikke like a SR/RL (that doesn't have a full charge benefit) you want to be spamming shot. Sometimes you want to cover dodge to avoid debuffs/dying. Auto movement is also very slow so you can lose dps if the boss moves fast. Auto doesn't always destroy parts as well. Burst order or burst holding sometimes matter as well. Most of the time human control/decision making is better than auto. The only time i say auto is more useful is when the boss is moving slowly, always on screen and is difficult to see.

Mudfish is the best Side Story. The only other great one is wordless. Levi has a great backstory but is held back by the crystal namek saga. Second affection is alright. After mudfish, side stories just became literal cut prologues from anni events that are mandatory to watch to understand the anni. I genuinely believe that GF was so bloated that they had to gut it and remove 30-50% of the original content. Even after it being gutted, it's still the longest anni event by a significant margin.

I genuinely believe that a decent amount of opinions are caused by the differing quality of voice acting between regions. I feel like Levi's KR VA did such a great job portraying her sadness and frustration in mudfish. I'm not a diehard Levi fan, but I find it really difficult to believe that a lot players weren't moved by her side story and I can only come to the conclusion that JP Levi didn't do as good as a job. Mudfish was legit one of the few content in nikke that has made me genuinely tear up. The Levi and Siren reunion also made me tear up despite the rushed ending. The same thing with Mori's speeches in US, the KR VA did such a good job portraying these emotions, that the fact that these moments aren't even mentioned in the community confuses me. I'm not saying US was a good story but KR Yuni and Mori did a fantastic job in carrying the event. Lots of similar moments come to mind like the Viper and Rosanna fight, ideologically I agreed with Rosanna but KR Viper was so good that it made understand feel Viper's position. Watching the JP version of that scene made it just feel like another okay filler scene.

I've listened to a bunch of the events in all 3 languages now, and I'll say that in terms of performances, all 3 languages have their highs and lows. EN obviously has the lowest and most frequent lows, but JP flubs it too sometimes. I don't think the quality of performances in KR are necessarily the highest, but it is the most accurate. They get direct feedback from the writers and it shows in various small ways with how lines are directed.
