the staggered phases and level cap on Nostie is lowkey kino. It forces you to covet or consider sets you'd normally wear for 5 hours and replace. It keeps the game fresh. You grow fond of your character and really savor progression that isn't tied to raiding.

I want to play some WoW again. Last time I had the itch I played ascension, which went through a major overhaul and was pretty fun for a while. Including with the prestige shit and leveling through battlegrounds with randomized skills. Then they hit the game with a balance patch and no one touched battlegrounds to level anymore and I lost all desire to play.I kinda slept on turtle wow because I was heavily into ascension at the time.
