I've fought Velkhana in both World and Rise and I can say for sure I've never liked either. Something about him being really thin and nimble combined with his area control is more irritating to me than fun. Bazelgeuse also relies on area control but at least he's a big bruiser so I don't get a migraine trying to focus on a specific part of his body for breaks.

It's a shame it can't be afflicted for a stronger version in SB.As for partbreaks unless you really need those extra rewards from breaks I don't really bother. I know SB Velkhana can sometimes start spamming that 5-spread wall attack and it doesnt need a bite to precede it. That attack is massive roll-bait though, especially for the ever popular evade extender in rise. Overall I think AT spawns walls waaaaay less often. I can understand some frustration if you're mostly hunting SB Velkhana, since those fog walls have to break twice otherwise you have random ledges(worst thing in mh) sitting around.Honestly my biggest gripe with Velkhana isn't walls but the difference in how things play out between small ones and big ones. Big ones can collide with zone boundaries so often and the second that happens it throws off it's aim and my predictions grrrr
