I see Pyro called an easy class but it's the only one I go 1:1 KD with. It's just impossible to do enough damage and escape in any sort of fight, you have to hold M1 on an opponent for longer than anybody to ensure they die, there's a ton of anti-afterburn stuff if you don't, and he doesn't have serious escape options for when it's time to do the "run" part of hit and run. The only exception to this is Phlog+SS which is cancer and barely feels like playing the game.

I started reminiscing about how I used to play before MYM and I recalled that I barely even touched quickplay, except for the first month or so. Whenver you hit quickplay the game would go like "Searching for servers that meet your criteria.... 1000... 2000... 3000... 4000... 4100... 4200... 4300... 4349... You're on your way to Upward!". Then I just realized the game would shove you into private servers, which was the norm for most multiplayer games back then, but it also meant I could find a match way faster in the browser. So I just curated a small list of favorites: a 24/7 Turbine with 32 players, a cp_orange, and another with a random selection of payload. And there were always people on those servers too.This is to say I think if valve was to bring quickplay back it would just fall on its face. It took years for those servers to develop and then that whole ecosystem got sterilized after 2017. You open the server browser now and 90% of servers are empty. The bulk of TF2 players at this point don't venture into the browser like that. I think it would leave many pro-quickplay people with a bitter after taste, and the casual players that have only known +2017 TF2 would be all smug and say "heh I told you so, we should be even more like overwatch"A revert won't work at all, valve would need to really dedicate a ton of man hours to get it right.
