Interesting, so putting NPCs/Followers who have their own custom body mesh on a blacklist will actually save manually assigned presets between loads but still show them as "unasssigned/unknown" in the menu. Otherwise it will randomly cycle through presets after each new game startup. I have never seen anyone mention this and see no such bug reports, but I guess it just werks now.

Let my agony serve as a warning. I've spent the last three weeks slowly building a mod list. I spent hours painstakingly hunted down patches. I had the visuals exactly how I wanted them and my upon running a one hour stress run through the game, everything seemed fine. Until it wasn't. Right before I ran Dyndolod so I could start my official playthrough with this mod list, a premotion struck me that I should test the list one more time.I booted up the game and then clicked on "New Game" and....the game crashed. In confusion, I loaded up my game again...and it crashed. I spent the next hour trying to run my game to no avail. I combed through my crash log and I couldn't make heads or tails of what could be causing my crash. So I took to the Nexus and asked for help there but even the crash log experts over there couldn't troubleshoot my modlist. So here I am now stuck with a mod list that I can't even use, even though I poured tens of hours of my life into it. Let this serve as a lesson to you, anons. Avoid the bloat. You don't NEED almost 2,000 mods.
