its so hard to get honors as jg compared to other roles. just by not mental booming i usually get at least 2 as adc even if i just play meh. as top i hit towers for 30 minutes and maybe tp to one or two fights and i get like 3 honors. as jg i can 1v9, most damage in the game, save my laners at least one time each on counter ganks, get every objective including a pixel perfect nocturne ult steal. 0 honors half the time maybe 1 or two if im lucky. because that kind of performance from jg is considered the baseline to laners. anything less is 9x report jg territory.
