After weeks of ts (this shit) you will then exchange these coins for one (1) piece of absolab gear

!!HOWEVER!!, Hard Damien and Lotus drop Absolab Weapon/Armor boxes that can just have a whole-ass absolab gear piece in them (You choose the armor, and weapon will be w/e your class uses) and also they can be transferred to gear out your alts. You might just luck out

However, you're bottle-necked by only getting 20 weekly coins, per titular week - it's 3 coins for EACH of the 5 missions, and then an additional 5 coins for completing all five missions (3+3+3+3+3+5 = 20!).
Haven weeklies are fucking DOGSHIT, and these retarded-ass maps will literally have mob spawns EXHAUST, and you'll need to either leave the room, or cc. it's baffling.

however! weekly stones drop from mobs in their respective areas so uh................. you can actually farm there if you want? (this is extremely inefficient)

But now starting something like Lumi or demon avenger seems like a wasted effort. I'm glad I somehow had the foresight to not start on a DPM class. Most of them have a bunch of 5-15 sec skills you need to constantly keep pressing when cont pops. Losing 120% boss damage on that is going to suck ass. The current fun of dpm class bossing is fitting in more uptime and getting more free damage out the ass because you know mechanics and know positions for free damage but all of that is getting gutted with these ring changes. Changseop saw whales complaining that others are clearing HLimbo/Baldrix through effort and was like nope let me cut this niggas boss damage by 120% and force them to find more DPM windows that puts them in danger by making it last 30 sec instead of knowing where to go and using all the skills during the 8 sec window.

the ring changes are a small fd gain like 3-4 fd assuming ror4&cont4 for everybody
cont is active 100% of the time, and you ror on burst, the loss is like 4% attack on burst and a gain of 100% uptime 40% boss I think it is? not certain on the values but in those ballparks
the biggest losers are the classes with strong minibursts that were using ror already, for example dual blade
either way no ring swapping is a W and the gains are better for higher ring levels lv5/lv6

by the way evan is the worst class in the game currently, low damage, but also complicated to do the low damage

the ring changes are actually more like 2-6 fd depending on your burst distribution. giga bursty classes with no off-burst dpm and completely uniform dpm classes are both on the lower end, but anything in between can see okay to really good fd gains from it

As a new player you probably don't have enough spares to utilize it to the fullest.
It reduces the gear boom rate by 30% and makes upgrading marginally cheaper. I think it's a good opportunity to get some shit to 17* without needing to safeguard. Though hitting that unlucky 1% still happens more often than you think.
I wouldn't worry too much since they are changing it soon to happen once every other week instead of a few times a year.

I will admit the mobbing could be much better. The moment you get to the larger maps it really just isn't consistent enough until you're also one/two shotting with talisman which is far beyond the point where your summons are one shotting. Luckily sol janus makes the later grind much easier, but it is obviously at the expense of inefficient farming until janus is at least level 10 which itself can take some time.

erel is iframed during burst and has a free gene iframe as well chance of it being shit is slim unless its hexa m1 equivalent is just total crap but also slim chance since sia's boosts like 8 skills at once

I have a feeling the burst iframe will get converted to hold down damage reduction like a lot of other classes. Maybe what I'm most worried about though is whether they decide to mirror Erda Link on Erel since that'd slow down progress as well.

monster damage works different a bit now so instead of taking 1 hit on top of a mob and going into iframe, there is no iframe until you take about 3-5 hits, so if you're just botting standing on tops of mobs you'll be -90% hp or dead without using potions
so bots will get to about lvl 50 in a week but will be spending at least half or more of their mesos on potions
people also sold vendor weapons for about 2x vendor price (like 10-20k) so i dont see the market being controlled by bots/rmt either

How does party loot work for bosses? Does everyone get their own drops only they can pick up or is it like free for all and you're reliant on some jackass not scooping everything up? Doesn't seem like it's a normal MMO system where you have to roll on gear and hope you roll the highest (you didn't).

correct, it was a huge problem for the server where you cant trade, they invented the roll system for that
for worlds with trading it doesnt really matter because we split the proceeds from selling the drops evenly

we already had a version of the roll before they added it, you walk to the left corner and cast blink and whoever randomly teleported the farthest to the right gets the drop but its an honor system

the biggest hurdle is a minor networking challenge to become situated in a guild and get access to information like how to get frenzy service and finding players around your progression level to party with for bosses, the hero worlds skip this by just having infinite randos in the party finder

I'm gonna make a second account on interactive and hyper burn something, likely a zero, since that's what I plan to main. Having the client installed alongside steam will also allow me to takepart in the PTS and such. if I somehow end up liking interactive more I can just make my CW3 character there on my main account. Sure I would be losing out on some cosmetics but with only 3k legion those legion pots will put me way ahead anyway. Maybe can get away with not spending a crazy amount, I'm not trying to get like a bil CP just enough to comfortably solo some bosses. I'm fine with spending upwards of $400 a month and that's what In used to budget for gacha anyway.

a little bit of both
the people with 1b combat power are sometimes buying meso from third parties to star force their gear past the 22-23 soft limit
but also there's a lot of misinformation because of people just repeating that over and over and so the people who haven't played interactive in 10 years and the people who've never played it just catch it
i've got this much without having spent anything, with even more upgrades slated soon but i grind a lot so its not really typical

late game gear is $100-$200/ea, giga whale end game gear is upwards of $2k/ea. I'm just a baby so idk what content the godly shit lets you do that you can't do with regular shit

at 800 i can do my portion of xkalos (he's just like 5 ckals in a trench coat) but probably not my share of an xadv or xbaldrix or xkaling
that's really it, there aren't that many bosses
this summer we're getting a boss above xkaling and a boss at about the same level as hard limbo
lots of 1b combat players are actually level gated out of the new boss because they're sub 295 and havent trained enough

I was shopping around and I can make 10-15mil combat power gains for around 50bil buying a new slime ring, as well as buying new arcane capes and shoes
probably get those done before I get back to going more pitched from 2 set, mitra is my biggest gain but im hoping prices tank with the psok changes coming in crown as people offload old mitra's

on a diff topic ckalos rewards fucking suck, I was debating looking for a duo or trio ckalos for my 250mil 80k hexa renny but like shit grindstone and shit eternals its not even worth the time over soloing nkalos besides some more destiny traces and idgaf on a mule
moving up not being worth it is so lame but I guess it saves me from yet another bossing party

I incidentally had the same discussion with my duo partners. I duo ckalos on two characters because of the time it takes and the shit rewards. I was fine with it pre-destiny lib because it made sense, but now it's just a waste of time to bother with it unless you go for a 4-man xkalos to try and go for the hammer drop. The worst part is that coordinating with dogshit / unreliable players will make the xkalos experience insufferable like the ckalos experience was back when bombs were still rng and everything had stupid hitboxes.

sia is modeled after old explorer bishop and speed was a big issue back in the day, pre 5th job you used to have to make decent haste boots to cap speed, these days you get enough from starforce on shoes and flames generally
gollux rings also come with +10 speed
