me wife sarah
Fallout 4 just got an update, there's hope for all of us. Though I bet /tesg/ would be panicking if Skyrim got updated again. lol
>>568458174/tesg/ try not to be coomers challenge (they already coomed)
How do I cope with the fact I’ve become more of a HopeTech enthusiast after being a Deimos fanboy for the longest time?
What are the best ship parts and POI mods?
>>568465279None they will all bloat your load order and destroy stability and your saves
>>568465383I thought Bethesda wanted me to buy creations
>>568466195Just stay away from mods that add ship parts and outpost parts and you will be fine.
>>568466329... So what does that leave? Fuckin skins?
>>568466329Oh and as for POI mods, the 2 best ones are Forgotten Frontiers 1 & 2 from MadMonkey119Two other quality POI mods that I like, from a different modder (caracal5), are Lost Light and Old Secrets
>>568466482Quest mods like Watchtower which is a huge expansion-like modAlmightySE also has some good quest creationsOr quest mods made by TheMilkArtist too
>>568466482I replied too fast, only ship parts and outpost parts mods will bloat your shitPOI mods are fine and pretty lightweight compared to those bloated ship and outposts messes
>>568457775You mean MY wife Sarah. Here's us enjoying a sunset drive on the beach.
>>568467964WE ALL HAD HER JOHNIt's a multiverse nigger, this is canon that we all fucked her
>>568466195I mean you are free to get any of these ship part mods but don't say we didn't warn youIt works fine, but it will needlessly bloat your game, and those mods generally don't play nice with other mods, even if those don't have anything to do with ships
>>568466329You don't actually have to completely forgo downloading those kinds of mods, but you definitely should limit your selection.
>>568463047
It just works
>>568466482>... So what does that leave? Fuckin skins?yes, buy a gay rainbow skin for $15It's still technically supporting the game for 10 years if it's just reskins
>>568467306>POI mods are fine and pretty lightweight compared to those bloated ship and outposts messesNot all of them-Forgotten Frontiers has 60,000+ records-Forgotten Frontiers 2 has 50,000+. -Hopetech Hydroponic Habs has 40,000+ records-Watchtower has nearly 400,000 records-Tatooine worldspace has 7000+ (because it's a desert planet)-Endor has 30,000+It's not the POIs you have to worry about, it's all the custom assets and clutter that's thrown into them, as well as persistent references.
>>568466195Bethesda doesn't have your best interests in mind
>>568471113What? But Todd never lied to me and always delivered pure kinoHe's my friend

>Todd released mariner habs so people would brick their runsB-b-based?
>>568471635LiesTodd would never brick my game
>>568466482Starfield is not a mod friendly gameYou either love vanilla and the base expansions or you risk breaking it
>>568472590Just don't use 500+ mods like a complete retarded niggerKeep a light load order with only the very best mods and you'll be fine
>>568460559The characters are too ugly in Starfield to have the same level of coomers over in this general.
>>568472590>500Not him but unless you're only using lightweight mods, you could be running into issues a lot sooner than that depending on how many records are present in these mods. I'm sitting at 267 plugins right now and had to remove at least 20 mods because of the soft limit that can lead to certain locations (mostly Neon) or my ship crapping out on me. Starfield also has a second problem with how it handles BA2 archives as it has a 255 hard limit before you start crashing at the title screen, prompting you to remove or extract some of them. Then you have to worry about save bloat just from exploring and generating new locations on planets.
>>568479367There are people who have the game shit itself sub-150 using only stuff from the club too even when controlling for updates and load ordersThe game just isn't built well for what they were aiming for, and I'm nervous about TESVI as a result
>>568480207I doubt you'd have to worry about TES6 unless it's also heavily procgen oriented. It's probably going to end up being 2 or 3 times the size of Skyrim instead of virtually having no limits or where you can explore unlike Starfield
Stroud-Eklund supremacy
>>568483082
>>568483082Stroud-Eklund ships may be good, but so what?
>>568478915Vanilla wise they beat Skyrim hags everyday. /tesg/ will post nothing but modded and off model garbage

>>568487863nta but yours looks like a big pile of shitthe other anon's ship look slick and clean and simple at the very least
>>568489280anon’s ship is literally just a lightly modified vanilla ship named Warwolf, you have no idea what a good ship looks like

The supposed pointer handle limit after installing all of the official stuff is estimated to be around 900,000 from what I looked up.
>>568467306>>568470857POI Variations has a ton of records too, forget how much but it was a retarded amount

>>568488539drop Falkland immediately, no ship mods of any kind are safe to use right nowcheck record count of POI mods in xedit before you commit Keep in mind things written to your save count against the limit too, even if you appear to be under the cap you can easily hit it just by playing
>>568493502>How did you know I like Star Trek
>>568493873??? So no matter what I do my game is fucked? How many hours of play are we talking?
>>568494248It varies depending on how much records your combined load order has as a baseline, and how much stuff you are doing, there's no concrete answerIf you're retarded like certain people in this thread though, you will hit it pretty quickly
>>568495489Fuck that I'm getting a refund. This wasn't a problem with fallout or Skyrim, and now Im afraid to use Creations I fucking paid for. Stupid fuckin bullshit.
>>568495949Kek fucking loser. Its like buying a car and not reading the warning labels all fucking over it. It's a Bethesda game. You knew what you were getting into retard
>>568494248There is no definitive amount of hours estimated to start having issues from save bloat, it just naturally occurs from generating new locations in Starfield and having tons of shit stored in places. You can probably expect to notice some performance degradation when your long running saves inflate to about 60-70mb, but it probably won't experience really bad bugs until they go somewhere over 100mb>>568495949>This wasn't a problem with fallout or SkyrimIncorrect, these issues encompass all games using the gamebryo engine, and it's even worse in Skyrim and Fallout 4 because of Papyrus. It's just exacerbated in Starfield because a ton of more shit went into it.
>>568496971The Page Handler file is exclusive to Starfield actually. Keep up.
>>568495949>This wasn't a problem with fallout or SkyrimIt actually is a problem with the other games but usually by the time I personally got far enough into a save where it would start being to bloated I already explored all areas in the games, exhausted side content, and got tired of radiant quests that I just ended up starting a new playthrough. I've always tried to keep playthroughs with under 150 mods at most since Oblivion, some of you use like way too many mods the shitty game engine can't handle that much unfortunately which is a shame because Bethesda games got some of the biggest modding communities out there only rivalled by some other games.
>>568497775You mean the Pointer Handles Limit (aka Reference Handle Limit), and this is also present in Fallout 4, as well as Skyrim to a lesser extent. Both Fallout 4 and Starfield keep it capped at around 2 million, while it's around 1 million in Skyrimhttps://www.reddit.com/r/starfieldmods/comments/1sl7t0g/its_time_to_talk_about_the_pointer_handle_limit/https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/ag4wm7/psa_the_reference_handle_cap_or_diagnosing_one_of/
>I have discouraging "news" -- I know nothing about bethesda's real plans, but I can explain some stuff about this limitation, and what I know about it doesn't give me optimism that it'll be patched out any time soon.>The limitation is from the pointer handles being stored in a 21-bit index, that's packed into a 32-bit bitfield. Other people have discovered and documented that it's basically:>-21 bits for the references (this is the number of Thingies that it's possible to reference. 21 bits = 2,097,152 thingies)>-1 bit for active/valid>-10 bits for an age/reuse counter used to detect stale handles>This choice has a lot going for it, and was probably the right one when it was made in like 2001 for Morrowind I'm guessing.>The most obvious fix, of course, is to make this value 64 bits. That would leave 53 bits of addressable slots, which is like... 9 quadrillion thingies, roughly?>The problem is that the 32 bit is assuredly baked super deep into the engine, and touches everything. EVERYTHING. All the data structures, serialization, save files, every internal API. It would touch virtually every aspect of the engine including whatever sections of code are like a haunted house that no one touches anymore because no one understands how it works. All the little optimizations that secretly depend on it being 32 bits would break. Every mod would need to be updated, every save file would be invalid. Just the migration path for all that would be a beast of a huge project.>If they were going to address it, they might be tempted during the "green field" of TES VI but even then I'm not holding my breath.LOL RIP
>>568501560A standard Unity jump is likely out of the question, but there are ways to work around having to start the entire game over cold turkey at least. Bethesda would simply need to prepare a built in transfer tool to migrate player state data towards a new game. Those who have yet to become a Starborn will just be sent back to the very beginning of the game, while those who did become Starborn starts off in their Starborn Guardian as usual.
At least you can mostly reset all of this by jumping into the next NG+ cycleNot the most optimal solution of course but there is a way out
>>568503261>>568503414>just lose everything that happened in the game>meanwhile the whole selling point of Bethesda games was the persistent worldThat's just restarting the game with extra steps anon. We used to do that with their old games, it was called making a new character. As a bonus you could try out a new build and traits as well.desu old elder scrolls like Oblivion had a similar non-technical problem that would require you to restart, which is that leveled enemies would become bloated with HP and un-fun. But I think restarting is more interesting than continuing with the same character. If they hadn't designed around NG+ the skills/research grind would also be tighter
>sysdef>vanguard>rangers>ryujinany other quests that add something to the unity area?
INTO THE KINOFIELD
>>568505250I don't give a fuck what you thinkNG+ is simply better
More like Captain BasedAlso she's a cute Asian hag
>>568505250Yeah I pretty much put off going through the unity as much as possible, I use a save cleaner when my save gets above 80mbs I've managed to get hundreds of hours on one character. I mainly don't like redoing outposts bunch of other shit that takes 50-100+ hours to get through each time, one I actually get bored I'll go through the unity or start a new character entirely.
Someone should mod Planet Popstar into this game
ok fuck it, i'm removing watchtower and poi variations and starting fresh. those are my two biggest mods in terms of pointy handjobs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbpMWySLH3U
>>568501560So what you're saying is, creation engine is shit.As I have said.
>>568522351The bigger takeaway is that the problem isn't going to be fixed for Starfield, so it will forever be a broken mess that self destructs your save file if you use any mods more complex than simple tweaks of existing gameplay functions.
You don't need more than 30 mods maximum
how 2 beat the space battle against scorpius, helix and third guy with starborn guardian II at max difficulty?
>>568531298Build a broken ship
>>568531470I'm expected to spend this much time between point A and B?
>>568531556Just turn down the difficulty if you're speedrunning
are there going to be more updates to starfield or are they done?
>>568532975They've said they're already working on year 3 of content updates for Starfield.
>>568533058They should be focusing on finally completing the next Elder Scrolls instead, most people moved on from Starfield.
>>568533058whats that going to be? the dlc that came out was super underwhelming. It doesn't hold a candle to like dawnguard or far harbor from their past games
>>568533408I did like Far Harbor if the base game was more like Far Harbor I might have enjoyed FO4 more than I did, I do agree both Shattered Space and Terran Armada were underwhelming compared to DLCs from the last 2 games.
>>568533240Bethesda isn't the 100 person team it was back when they made Skyrim. They have over 600 people. Having small 40-50 people teams on stuff like Fallout 76, or Starfield, doesn't meaningfully take away from development on TES6.>>568533408>whats that going to be?It is generally assumed the DLC will be focused on the Starborn, and the artifacts, temples, Unity builders. Starborn got trademarked as a DLC some time ago, and in one of the trailers for the Free Lanes update/Terran Armada DLC they got Keith David(Captain Anderson from Mass Effect) to talk about it. Most people think he will play Sebastien Banks, the founder of Constellation, and the guy who found the first artifact that led Barrett to starting his search for the artifacts.Beyond that there's a lot of people who think Bethesda could also do a Outpost/Colony DLC. Since that would be the last major aspect/faction of the game that needs expansion on now that we got the Tracker's Alliance bounties, House Va'Ruun, a Colony War follow up, and presumably a Starborn DLC.>the dlc that came out was super underwhelming. It doesn't hold a candle to like dawnguard or far harbor from their past gamesI'd legit rather play Shattered Space over Nuka World, or Dawnguard. Terran Armada is a far better DLC than something like Automatron.
>>568533850yeah automatron is mid but people don't really consider that the major fallout 4 dlcs. It's nuka world and far harbor, like Skyrim's is dawnguard and dragonborn
>>568533970I did like the robot building feature Automatron brought to the table though that I wish Starfield had by default, there is a robotics skill in this game but it is practically useless in most cases unless you are fighting robots and some rare skill choices.
>>568533970Terran Armada isn't a major DLC either, its a smaller $10 DLC like autonatron was. Starfields Far Harbor and Nuka World would be shattered Space and Starborn(or w/e they end up calling it)
>>568532975Yes, they stated that another update is coming next month
>>568534268I assumed terran armada was only 10 bucks because starfield is so unpopular
>>568534593>because starfield is so unpopularIt really isn't though.-It was Bethesda's biggest launch ever.-It was the top selling game the month it came out.-It was a top 10 selling game of 2023.-It was the third most profitable game on Steam in 2023.-Drove the single biggest increase in Gamepass subs ever, up to that point.-Had more play time, and a higher completion rate, then BG3 did by the end of 2023, despite BG3 coming out a month earlier.-Was the only single player game to make it into the top most played games of 2023.-Stayed on Xbox's most played games list for over a year, not only above Bethesda's other games, but also competitors like CP2077, and BG3.-By the end of 2023 had reach over 12 million player, by the end of 2024 it has over 15 million players.-Based on total sales/gamepass numbers has around 20K+ playing it on PC alone to this day, putting it in the same realm as Fallout 4.-Still in gamepass's 10 most played games even in 2026.-Made it to the top pre-order spot on the PlayStation before its release.-Was one of the best selling games in the timespan it came out on playstation.
>>568534736are you not counting bg3 as a single player game because you can do co op? Because it really is still a single player RPG at its coreThe PlayStation numbers are misleading because there was like no competition. analysts said it only sold like 140k first week which isn't as good as they'd hope
>>568534736Compared to trending sales from Skyrim it did worse after initial release, and it failed to retain the same modding communities FNV, Skyrim, and FO4 have. I remember for several years Skyrim was still making big numbers with active players but Starfield pretty much fell out of most people's radar after a while. Most people I know were playing BG3 way more than Starfield in 2023.>>568535193Yeah co-op is just an added bonus, it isn't solely a co-op game you can benefit from just playing it single player.
>>568535193>are you not counting bg3 as a single player game because you can do co op? No. BG3 was counted in that playtime for 2023 examination. People just put more time into Saarfield than BG3. Also games weren't exlcuded based on single/multi/coop. It was just a list of the top 10 most played games of the year, and Starfield was the only single player only game to make the cut. Everything else was shit like Roblox, or Fortnite.
>>568533850>keith david as banksoh fuck yeah. you believe any of this voodoo bullshit?
>>568535943I find that hard to believe because if you look at steam player charts, bg3 numbers is about 6x the concurrent players dailywhat's the source of starfield being the only single player game in top 10 most played?
>>568535651Starfield would've never had the same modding community as Fallout or TES.-Its a new IP(thus no established fanabse)-Bethesda fans don't necessarily like the other games Bethesda makes(Many TES fans give zero shits about Fallout, vice versa with Fallout fans and TES)-Starfield is a space scifi game, which have always been less popular than fantasy or more exaggurated scifi like Fallout-Even among space scifi games, Starfield is a space simulator, a relatively niche title, compared to the far more popular space opera genre like Star Wars or Mass Effect. Its a fairly niche kind of title. And it still maanged to be in like the top 10 most modded games on Nexus. Even ignoring that Starfield modding scene is far more shifted to the Creations platform since it launched alongside Starfield modding.
>>568536280>Its a new IP(thus no established fanabse)Well it hasn't even managed to make a decent fanbase, when all we got of note as figures in the "fandom" like Crimson Flyboy and the other guy I forget his name it is very bleak. There are several indie games with bigger fanbases than this.
>>568536521this game is most popular among 30+ year old males, we are actively repulsed by ecelebs
>>568536254>I find that hard to believe because if you look at steam player charts, bg3 numbers is about 6x the concurrent players dailyYou forget that Starfield is a Gamepass game first and foremost, with an estimated like 70-80% of Starfield players being on Gamepass.>what's the source of starfield being the only single player game in top 10 most played?IIRC, it was Newzoo's yearly report for 2023 on the most played games. It was reported by a number of sites in early 2024
>>568536731I mean there might be something to that, there are things I like about this game I can't find in other space games and I'm over 30 but I don't think this game is very popular by any real measure. I wouldn't call it a failure least on initial sales but it didn't have the impact previous Bethesda titles did.
>>568536832is bg3 not on gamepass? how are that many people using that, Xbox doesn't have that many players
>>568537092>is bg3 not on gamepass?Nope
>>568533850>Most people think he will play Sebastien BanksI can't find it in the archives but I'm 99% sure someone said this as far back as 2023. He was either joking or had insider info.
>>568537328While it was probably a joke, Bethesda did register Starborn back in 2023. So it may have been insider info.
why are the starborn suits made out of cheap fiberglass instead of something cosmic like everything else related to them?
>>568501560I was going to hold out for a patch but if its that bad, and I can't even expect to run all of the creations I've paid for together, then I'm not playing this. This is the dumbest, clumsiest shit I've ever seen. And the fact Bethesda have yet to address this for fear it'll stop people buying creations just shows how greedy and slimey they've become.
>>568542907> And the fact Bethesda have yet to address this for fear it'll stop people buying creations just shows how greedy and slimey they've become. Why to make up a reasoning out of thin air,

if this problem is present in Fallout as well then did Bethesda just shoot themselves in the dick releasing that mod space update on console?
>>568546879No, Fallout doesn't have ship parts taking up tons of pointers like Starfield does.
Is there a way to start a new universe without being Starborn? Like, more about resetting the universe and less about progressing the Starborn shit? I hate being a space god. I want to be a space trucker. But my game is space fucked.

so is this game best just played vanilla but with like only 1 big mod like watchtowers to avoid that point handler limit?
>>568555427his argument is all the extra players are on gamepass but I don't believe it.Xbox is a dying platform as shown by Xbox series S/X declining sales, and there's no way they there's so many people on gamepass that can compete with steam
>>568558257no, there are tons of gameplay alteration mods that are lightweight. like that new spaceships+ mod that overhauls ship damage. it adds spacewalking to fix your ship, potential heatleech infestations, hull breechs that vent the atmosphere in your ship and make it zero G, etc. all of that with i think only 14 base game records impacted. it is only certain mods that really bloat your game off the hop
>>568558550PC gamers are the smallest whenever we get leaks about how each game is doing on each platform.
>>568568226not true, you picked one game, GTA online, which has always dedicated to consoles firstPC has a bigger playerbase than all of consoles combined because it's just far more accessible. you don't need a beast of a PC to play bg3.
>>568568856PC having the biggest gaming playerbase might not mean all that much if many people on this platform have different consumption habits, or can't run every game due to playing on low end hardware. Don't let the big numbers skew reality.
The fact that Bethesda haven't released proper player numbers shows they don't want us to know for sure how badly the game is doing. Steam player count is all you really need and it's abysmal.

>>568604934Thanks, it didn't go through any changes since 2024. I intended it to be a sleeker version of the Frontier.
>>568523592Raising the pointer handle limit isn't likely going to be something that Bethesda will do with this game for a few years down the road, but in the mean time they can try to mitigate the engine instability by fixing some memory leak issues. The issue with assets disappearing can be caused by save bloat that comes about from the game failing to purge persistent references from inactive cells. Mods that include a ton of persistent references can also largely contribute to this problem.
Can the pointy handler crumpet be mitigated by patching something over top? Like, putting in a process similar to the save game cleaner but for this problem? Something that routinely clears out a bunch of data?

>>568608337>ran the experimental save cleaner mod on my game to see if this would help with stuff disappearing>actually did cure this problem, but in turn broke some of the Free Lanes contentLooks like I can confirm that the pointer handle bug might be an inevitable save bloat problem on long running saves, and not just with installing a ton of mods. Now the NG+ is starting to make more sense, Bethesda probably knew this was an issue from the start.
>>568538150My theory is that the Artifacts and their Temples are surviving remnants of the previous universe, and the “creators” no longer exist. All these fancy toys that all the Starborn play with and kill each other over can magically adapt to the exact needs of their user. The Starborn will be reborn with a suit and be inside of a spaceship, to enable survival in the vacuum of space, and said spaceship already comes with grav jump capabilities.Like… imagine if the Babylonians conquered the entire globe, then the Earth blew to smithereens, and it reformed again into a planet and now cavemen suddenly skipped a millennia in civilization development, and some of them are fighting each other in secret with ballistic missiles and orbital lasers.
>>568627209you put more thought into it than bethesda
I'm surprised only two romanceable companions have been added as modsI would have thought people would try to milk that aspect through creation club, but I guess not
>>568632982It's actually pretty hard to script and write for unlike Skyrim where throwing a simple relationship parameter would trigger the amulet of mara dialogue
The ship hab showers are discriminatory to people of size.

after surviving the shipwreck, escaping the hydro plant and constructing a distress beacon to call a rescue ship, i was dropped off on cydonia and got a job in the mines. the ship tech has a cheap junker that he only wants 70k credits for, and i am only 10k away from that number. it lacks grav drive capabilities but it will allow me to take jobs off-world so i can start building some real capital. i will need a boat with some real legs if i am to escape the sol system
>>568658975Post screenshots you can't blog post gameplay without screenshots
>>568658975sounds cool but also a little too hardcore for the setting, considering that even in vanilla you can take passenger missions. realistically you should be able to pay for transportation to a non-shithole
>>568658975>boat with some real legsWhat kind of fucking monstrosity is this

>>568605879>>568604934>>568604070I object to the shipping containers facing inwards, which would make loading/unloading difficult. But then the game doesn't really simulate that or bulk freight so, eh... One of the things I like about Star Citizen is that cargo is a physical object, given how fascinated Bethesda is with it's object physics and sandwiches, it's weird that crates of cargo or even full shipping containers attaching to the sides of the ship didn't become a feature.
>>568676006i don't understand why we can't put the containers facing downwards. thinking about how they are unloaded.

>>568676006there is a mod that makes your cargo bays realistically fill with crap as your ship inventory fills up
>>568676245I wish we had better rotatable parts, so I could put sharkfins on my ship.
Bethesda should introduce killmoves into this game, then make the Vulcan Neck Pinch a sneak attack
Cargo habs should increase cargo space to justify installing them>2x2: +200 capacity>2x3 & 3x2: +400 capacity>3x3: +600 capacity

If Starfield made the Unity a timetravel thing and not a "leave your universe FOREVER and go to a random one" then I would actually do New Game +I hate the idea of leaving my universe. MY universe. I would rather just be able to time-travel with knowledge of the future to make positive changes.Like literally the whole leaving my universe behind thing is what made me swear off NG+ entirely. There a mod yet?

>>568725302Give a good 10 or 20 years and we'll probably see vibrant moon colonies visible down here on earth. Let's just hope North Korea and Russia doesn't get it into their heads to start trying to launch missiles towards those colonies.
>>568724729An upgrade to an Amp farm. To make an O2 shot, you need to combine Amp with Snake Oil and metabolic agent. If you already have an amp farm, it’s already convenient because you already have metabolic agent for the Amp, Snake Oil, AND O2 shot, so all that’s left is securing a source of sedatives and chlorine to craft Snake Oil. You have two choices:>Freya IIIthe only planet with a domesticable plant that produces sedatives. You will need an auxiliary outpost to supply it with Helium-3, which will then send the sedative material and chlorine to your amp farm location, such as Jemison or Syrma VII-A. >Schrodinger IIIIf you prefer, you can save space and only set up two planets rather than three. This planet has a domesticable fauna that can produce sedative, but it needs to be supplied with fiber, which you cannot domesticate on the planet. I have chosen Feynman IV as my fiber + chlorine farming planet, it also has Helium-3 to fuel your intersystem cargo links. You can also set up on Porrima III, but that planet requires planetary habitation rank 3 to even allow you to set up an outpost there.

Weirdness
Hello again anons of /stag/, after 100 hours of playing game this week. I came to the conclusion it's Bethesda best game, it mogs skyrim and fallout 4 in terms of writing and gameplay department. Game is woke but it's very comical in terms of execution of said wokeness, it's non-issue. Game is 7/10 for original Bethesda title even though I refunded back in 2023 after 3 hours. /v/ once again is wrong and over hypes failure. The game does have number of glaring problems but its not the end of the world.
>>568746241astute and reasonablepilled
>>568746894The Orchard is my main ship, altered it to suit my needs.
>>568746241I dont think it's woke, it's more of a Gen X mindset of writing where they put things in because they think it's what scifi is supposed to have. There's no maliciousness or message pushing behind it. The fact that the pronouns feature doesnt work shows that they dont really care beyond a few token gestures.
OH GOD OH FUCK
>>568752501>Docked despite clearly not>Trying to grav jump despite docked>Full power to engines despite almost full speed being 35Blow up your save, anon.
>>568731180eeeehhh I dont have it in me to do much outpostin. I never found the mechanic very enjoyable. Maybe if they do any big updates specifically around outposts then I could get back into it and put in the time for these kinds of setups. Otherwise.....eh
>>568678612>i dont play as a hot chick and i am not modded for graphicsWho cares, post belly.
>like four different UI overhauls on nexusevery one of them is shittier than the vanilla UI
>No First-Person Combat Crosshair>Move or Disable XP Barget these, dude. the game is so much more chill without all the visual noise popping up in the center of the screen every few seconds
>>568761946I love the XP sound, it's like ASMR
>>568752273>The fact that the pronouns feature doesnt work shows that they dont really care beyond a few token gestures.Yeah, they just did a few things for the ESG score in 2023 when it was more relevant and didn't bother going too far with any of it. It is hardly the wokest game of the past 6 years at least.
>>568752273>>568762991You guys are huffing copium full time with this
>>568763660I'm not saying it isn't woke at various points but compared to shit like Assblasians Greed: We Wuz Samurai and Veilguard like no not even close.
>>568752273Nah it's woke as fuck. But in such a clumsy way that it certainly isn't effective as propoganda. It's more absurdist, where every married couple you meet is same sexThe most jarring to me was the lead scientist in the split universe quest, who looks like a caricature of a mammy with a big poofy afro. Most other diversity casts were ok besides the constant gay shit everywhere and how everyone says partner
>>568765260Not to mention the jarring look of the non-named citizens.
>>568766065Good point, I've had the crowd NPCs modded to not look nearly as ugly so I almost forgot.
>>568764945Almost every character is a faggot, and what is funny is that some faggots are gay muslims like that Chef guy on the The Perfect Recipe
Andreja or Sarah?
>>568767636Sarah because of her intellect and thoughtful conversations Andreja if you're looking for an autistic wife fantasy
>>568766182same
>>568768014believe me, you want the latter
>>568752501Some steps to take that might help with stability issues and stuff disappearing in Starfield1. Make full saves from time to time and load them after relaunching. Quick, Auto, and Exit Saves do not clear out scripts properly, and continuing to load from them can lead to oddities.2. Limit the amount of ship parts and outpost mods you're using. Too many persistent references is one of the direct causes of this problem3. Limit the amount of city mods you're using. Cities do not clean up or recycle persistent references over time, so too many assets in these locations can actually affect you everywhere4. Clean up any clutter dropped in city cells for the same reason as step 35. Discard of any junk or an overabundance of items you have no need of that you have stored in places. This will help to reduce the impact on save bloating6. Go to Venus and rest there for 24 hours, then make a full save and relaunch the game. This will help to reset temporary cells faster
>>568772235is venus the designated "reset shit" planet?
>>568773120Yes because 24 hours on Venus equates to hundreds of days on Earth
>>568773269How long do you have to wait on Venus to reset things? I assume not the whole 24 local hours.
>>568774156I think it's actually somewhere between 4-6 hours, but people usually wait either 24 or 72 hours
Behead Todd for Infinity LTD mission
>>568773269honestly, what made them decide to implement time this way? it's so retarded it boggles the mind. why would it be easier to sleep for weeks because the planet you're on rotates slower? it makes survival mods incredibly dumb too.I wonder if it broke all their radiant stuff too because the only place with that kind of npc scheduling is Cydonia, which has "normal" hours. I don't think anyone was willing to spend their meager brain power thinking about how human schedules would work on a long-day planet. except for a few stores saying "open 47 hours"
>>568777506bethesda didnt invent time, bro
do people upload face replacers on the Bethesda platform?
>>568779519I've seen some but I doubt you can get away with uploading a replacer for Vlad to make him an actual Russian and no longer a nigger.
>>568780697why do they make the Bethesda platform so hard to search and find mods
>>568780806The fault is of that faggot that is in charge of creations, he was on the Oblivion Remastered launch video kek
>>568780913who?
>>568780806A multi-billion dollar studio can do better they could also do their own version of LOOT built in as well but lol that ain't happening.
>>568782105it's kind of crazy how lazy they are even when they can profit from it
>>568770323I don't want neither but I can handle arguing with everyone
>>568783772The yes men culture on bgs spilled to the fanbase, you can notice that on the official Discord server. It is a weird echo chamber of normies over there, at least there are still people that are willing to give reasonable requests, but BGS's boomers are so fucking slow that is crazy, they have more money than many studios and barely do shit
>>568789071like it's not even an unreasonable askmake their storefront better for discovering mods both free and paidthey literally will profit from it
>>568767636You can have both, that’s what I’m planning to do in my next universe.
