Reminder, Marathon would probably need to be doing above 50k weekly on Steam for the player numbers to be healthy enough for a game that does not charge mandatory seasonal passes and has very little in the way of microtransactions. Otherwise, Bungie will still reduce size, they will still most likely encounter Marathon layoffs at a future date because the Washington location as well as their general operating costs would exceed what they get via return. The one thing bungie's gunplay destiny failed amd missed is laser weapons. hitscan Pulsed beams specifically like Darktide's lasgun that leave a trail of dissipating red from it's barrel.
