If you place it on the ground you dash into it and get a ton of forward momentum. You can use it to add more momentum to jump pads. Splatter has no damage fall off and can be thrown extremely far, particularly from a rooftop. You can use it to cut waves in the mid and late game. Obviously try to angle it so it bounces off a wall and does more damage. You should alt fire at the same time you're throwing splatter at someone if they're close because they have similar arcs and it's free damage.You should get rescue beam because it makes cube 100x better since you don't have to try to puddle punch people out of situations and just pull them to you. If you cancel rescue beam early they keep the momentum of the pull, which also means they'll slide when they hit the ground if they're cubed. You can rescue beam someone while ulting to tow them away with you.
