I finally did Vault of Glass in D1.It was pretty nice, there wasn't too many mechanics and the ad-focus was a lot more interesting since you're not Diablo 3 nuking every single minor enemy with abilities.The lighting, aesthetics, and atmosphere looked and felt way better compared to the remake in D2. And the oracle animations materializing and shattering looked really nice, and I know that's a minimal thing to nitpick but the blinding oracles were pretty cool, and watching it shatter and warp into a weird void was kind of impressive since a lot of those types of details never really made it over to D2 and I think that takes a lot of atmosphere out of it.

For casuals, you might not HAVE the loot to meet the requirement to go back in, so you get maybe 2-3 tries for the weekend and then it's back to Outpost to farm up more loot.As that other poster said, it's a comedy of errors that will likely never be fixed enough to bring people back.

I'm realising this is most likely the last big update from Bungie ever in terms of development for a heavy amount of these employees. Some of them were really shitty like the season of the deep one but I think Worthy, Lost, and Risen had some decent activities too. AND YOU GET GOLDEN GUN ON TOP OF ALL THAT WTF prismatic hunter is genuinely the most fun ive ever had. if you have a good strand weapon you can basically always spam tangles. i just found out about the epic cape and i think it's a really good subclass even without it.
