Those spheres were red-hot, so they looked like miniature suns as they traveled a conveyor into a water tub for cooling. Beautiful sight.I thought those were bearings at first, but their dimensions and surface seemed way too rough for that. Apparently, those are used in industrial mills, where these balls are put into something like a rotating concrete mixer where they crush and powderize other materials. Pretty cool.
