Armor breaking rares is still a problem but there are some nodes that can help for that now I think? The best (only) way to make armor work is using phys as ele mods & armor as ele, so go smith of kitava for the 25% phys as fire asc node in your chest. The 5% phys as fire notable on the tree is also very worth pathing to and eventually instilling the ranger's 5% phys as ele for extra tank. Smith of Kitava can only use a normal chest, but you can still vaal it to try and get +phys %dmg reduction which is extremely strong and what you should spend all of your vaal orbs trying for in endgame.Also I lied about the support gem. You need steadfast on resonating shield (more stun threshold while channeling) and vanguard can go on boneshatter (optional for guard on stun)I played hcssf shield wall last two leagues. Resonating shield was always okay but just slower since way less damage and area compared to shield wall. You'll probably end up wanting to use shield wall for more damage when it's safe enough to not be in turtle mode
