Power shards are useful to try to get to 200% str while maintaining 160+ efficiency you want on any frame that uses abilities at all. Purple are good for filler but with a decent sampotes riven it makes no difference 99% of the time.

Efficiency is a foreign concept beyond brown understanding.
Realistically if a frame doesn't function by spamming abilities every second you can get away with negative efficiency pretty fucking easily. I have 45% efficiency on nova, mesa, volt, wisp and mirage and I never run out of energy.
