Damn, Shams really is satisfying for Boss fights. The rest of my lvl 57 team besides Yserinde wiped within the first few rounds during the lvl 65 weapon trial boss (Selina got one-shotted the first round). The fight immediately devolved into Yserinde throwing a dagger behind Shams, him stepping on it and Earthshatter Blazing back into the boss and Gladiator's Striking him. Eventually Yserinde died too and Shams just solo'd the boss like a chad.

Man this Tower of Conquest 8-5 is brutal on my noob team.___Enemy Mutation: Front attacks DMG -100%. Back attacks DMG +40%___All Characters Mutation: Ranged skills DMG +60%. Ranged skills reduced to minimum range. On my first go of it only Yserinde and Nydia got any damage in. Trying to flank and defeat an overwhelming amount of enemies that utilize Assisting Cover while clogging the chokepoints is difficult. Shams is basically reduced to a purely tanking role with no ability to leap over enemies and flank them and Clara effectively held one of the chokepoints while dealing no damage.
