Goddess Fall is a pivotal narrative beat and that's a mistake.

This makes it so you have to click and drag to move the target reticule (same as having to touch your finger to phone screen to drag it). How you get this to work is get the reticule on target so it snaps to the core and then, while still holding left click, make sure to not move your mouse at all. If you move it at all the lock will likely break, but if you don't move it then the lock will stay forever, no matter where or how the boss moves. He can cross the entire screen and it will stay locked onto him.The only time the lock will break is when the character reloads. In that moment, the lock will move off the core and you may be directing the whole team to not aim at the core. So you have to learn to let go of left click during reloads to let the team auto aim at the core and press it again once its over, and you may also need to move the reticule back over the core if the boss moves far enough way during it. Therefore its best that you choose the person that reloads the least to do this trick.
