Asking a noob question after two years of playing: how do DPs interact with fireballs? Or rather, how do the invul frames with the projectiles?My character has some forward momentum with his DP and I tried using this to get through some projectiles, hitting the opponent behind them. Seems very MU specific, though. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Even though I'm sure I would still be on in the invul frames.

In any case, I recommend checking the frame date or even better doing some testing in training mode to see at what distance that can work consistently.

Don't try to dodge or roll them.In neutral, use your fireball to get in. It's even better if you have a Träumerei stack. Usually, Vikala players will get out of your poking range, spam projectiles and rush in whenever it's safe with a star or a spiky ball to pressure you. That's where you close the distance with a preventive jump or a roll. Don't forget to jump attack (j.H with Percy, I think) to be plus on landing. As long as they don't anti-air you, keep doing that. That's THE skill check to do against zoners. Even if they know how to anti-air, at least they'll leave you some gaps in anticipation.If they tend to be more defensive, U Fire Carpet and wait for them to do something stupid (like jumping).
