I guess I'll complain a little. I feel like there is a lot of influence from that other studio that merged with aces, and I don't like it. The whole look of the characters and multiplayer is way too colorful/silly and generic. Especially the way the multiplayer was presented (avatars? really?) just kind of annoyed me. Reminds me too much of one of those hellish modern multiplayer shooters. The land battleship is also wayy too retarded, it doesn't even have a cool design, it's literally a big scifi littoral combat ship and makes zero sense. Very much feels like they literally ran out of ideas and didn't even try to come up with something cool. Also is it supposed to be tracked?? Fuck. 7 for all it's flaws at least had some great designs like the arsenal birds and the space elevator, 8 has nothing so far. At least the protagonist and allied squad liveries are amazing, I really disliked how plain they were in 7.

It feels way too out-of-place and impractical even for an Ace Combat setting IMO. At least flying aircraft carriers, loyal wingman drones, laser weapons have some practical basis in reality and in the context of modern military technology, but there's a reason why the concept of massive landships died out circa early WW2.
