I remember when I first browsed /tesg/, I would ask for modpacks and shit like Requiem, and all I would get are sarcastic comments and got recommended to install Deadly Dragons.. A lot.. Needless to say I lurked a bit more but what made flip was when I was reading one of the old articles on the old /tesg/ website, I don't remember who wrote it (probably maze?) but I do remember it explaining why /tesg/ really dislike modpacks, it was because you, the player, are playing a vision of the game from someone else's perspective, to me I felt cucked, so I put in the hours, and years later I'm still with the same modpack and still satisficed. Now, though, I feel sad looking at these vermin recommending modpacks but worse than that, n*xus collections and v*rtex, what a shame.

The deeper I dive into BFCO/MCO the more convulted it gets. For Honor is a nice allrounder setup with neat animations but also has its own parry, knockdown effects. So it's an entire system by itself. Then you have the Elden Rim branch and movesets that are based on that, often needing the elden Rim weapon arts mod or at least the core files for all the special effects, so you golf swing enemies into the air like in DS or Elden Ring. I don't think they conflict with each other but having two systems that do the same thing probably isn't the best for stability.
