Outis very much depends on how she's handled before her canto and during more than anything. The problem with Outis is that she's all talk and in an annoying way. She is/was the 2nd strongest and yet hasn't shown any reason for that to be the case. She gets bitched by Ishmael often. She isn't quite as bad now but her main personality trait being praising Dante and putting everybody else except herself down is still her main trait. She was in most if not all status teams but never really a standout, until Middle I guess. Dark flame doesn't count since that's a utility only she offers and she sucks otherwise. She doesn't get to do anything really, no personal wins, no feats, no moments of clarity where she does something everyone appreciates. She's like if you had a really bossy ex military aunt who doesn't have anymore authority over you because you're an adult now and she's smaller and weaker than you.

Given that one of the running themes in the City is the fact that well-intentioned creations will become corrupted overtime due to greed, selfishness, and the darkness in human hearts, one of my notions has always been that the Five Fingers each initially started off as organizations where people of the Backstreets banded together under different creeds meant to provide them safety and places of belonging, but overtime deviated from their original purposes into the ruthless organizations they are today.

But the mob mentality taking over and the people at the head seeing cohesion and fear as moreimportant than the actual state of the "family" and making sure disputes are settled fairly devolved into them becoming nothing but petty bullies who use their "family ties" as excuses for pettiness and taking what they want.

The Ring I could see as maybe people seeking reprieve from ugliness in the world and wanting to create something beautiful for others to behold. Wanting to value the process of creation rather than destruction and share it for the sake of the arts. That's one of my qualms with her as a character
It's one thing to think yourself better than your coworkers if you haven't built a rapport with them, doubly so if in your previous line of work you were an actual big shot
But it's been over a year since they lived together, fought together, and died together
You'd think she would've softened up a little and start showing others some genuine and not begrudging respect

So I have been using the lines in combat custom language for a while and I wanted to start checking.
First change I noticed is that middle Heasu's s3 line is
>Hah... I will carve the pain upon you myself!
when the language pack had translated it as
>I bring you the promised suffering!
His s3-2 turn start line changed from
>Crank the music louder!
to
>Turn the volume up!
His unopposed S1s seem to have changed too
>Get the hell out of my sight!
changed to
>Sod off you!
I think
>Stop me if you can!
got changed to
>See if you can take this!

Sinclair's s3 line got translated as
>Hurts doesn't it?
instead of
>Does that sting?
that the language pack used.

Good games let you check the scenes on the gallery or give you a button to 'faint' on command so you can get the sex scene without the drawbacks of getting killed to see it. Unfortunately most aren't good games so you're gonna have to deal with the drawback of losing
