I'm following a build and this game is too complex. The visuals are great, though. The Aztec temple was horrifying, the Abandoned Prison was nice and had a fun gimmick. Can't say it's bad, doesn't have soul, but my God the leveling/stats are mind-boggling big and I can't make sense of it. Haven't seen much theory crafting around the new fire to bleed ring considering is seems good. Around the bottom of the tree there's plenty to support dual stacking of ignite and bleed which ends up being 155% of hit damage over 4-5 seconds if you can get bleed and invite chance high enough, before aggravate. If you managed to scale Saithas spear you can double that to 310% by aggravating both the ignite and bleed. Titan would obviously be good also I think Amazon+Ritualist. Not sure about any Merc ascends, though Gemling could work depending on the skill you use, EQ get more ailment per qual for example.

armor on its own feels like dogshit even with like a fuckton, but I will say that having 2k+ base life, 500 to 1k energy shield, and 500+ Ward, and 1,000+ Mana with % Mind over Matter with 10k armor actually feels pretty comfy, since 10k armor is enough to mitigate a bunch of small hits (it does basically nothing against giant slams, against a 5k slam it's only 16.67% damage reduction), which is all armor is good for, and to actually survive the giant slams and ground degens and shit, you have a 5k+ max hit that splits recovery across four different resources, effectively multiplying your recovery especially if you take some Recoup to recover life, mana, and energy shield simultaneously on top of high life/mana regen and 5% ward.I routinely find myself standing in retarded ground degens that would have killed me last league 100% even with 15k sorcery ward, but because my hit pool is so large and split across four different pools each with their own recovery I can play like a retard and still be fine, it's enough armor to mitigate small hits and enough max hit to facetank slams, especially with the 200% recoup of 10% damage taken from Romira's Requital which basically works like additional % PDR, so even against a 5k slam that 16% is really 26% damage reduction with 20% recoup.

I don't think people think maces suck ass. Its just that they suck ass in comparison to some of the weird shit you can do with spells. Monks flying around at light speed punching lightning out that shocks and freezes and ignites all at the same time and exploding screens without ever being in danger etc. Seeing that shit is disheartening when you look at what maces can do by comparison. It just doesn't feel like maces are even in the same realm as some of these other weapons or skills or spells.

The patch before that was Druid, so this patch and last patch there were barely any resources going towards swords and axes. Obviously this is gay as hell but I believe this is the case. I'm all but certain we will get swords in 1.0 along with Act 5 and 6.
