>>569526273I have never built a resource buffer in vanilla. You're doing it wrong.
Blueprinting curved road and rail designs is annihilating my motivation to continue Satisfactory. Why is it so fucking difficult?
>>569526607Hey man, there was nothing wrong with my end. The parts of the factory that I wasn't involved in were the parts that were lacking.
>>569526619>SatisfactoryThat's your problem right there.
>>569527224Is there something else to dislike about it? So far it's really just this issue that's hampering my motivation.
>>569527459There's an autist, or perhaps autist(s), in this thread that like to start a franchise war between Satisfactory and Factorio. Just ignore them.
>>5695274593D in general is a bit of a bitch to build in but yeah, the shitty blueprinting amplify it.I really enjoy trying to make modular autoconnecting factory blueprints but the fact I can't make a simple rail crossing as a blueprint sucked all motivation out of me.Even the medium designer wasn't big enough. maybe the big one is big enough but i didn't make it until then.
moyai man is up
>>569528135I think the weirdest part is there's barely even a usecase for trains. Belts have more throughtput, are far cheaper than in Factorio, and easier to lay down since they tolerate curves and elevation much better and can even phase through terrain.
>>569528908nta but belt highway spaghetti is ugly and messy. That was also killing my motivation and the reason i began looking into making truck and train logistic chains.

>>569559721what replaces stable hands cleaning up horses' shit when you have access to cars? nothingthere is one significant production chain you have to do, resources to science, it's not py where creating something has a by-product that cannot be utilized in that chain (with the sole exception of heavy oil for lube)you start optimizing the designs, instead of doing advanced circuits separately, you integrate them with the consumers like blue chips and furnaces at the correct ratios they needas you keep knocking out intermediates you need to transport to multiple places from the one production chain you are doing, you stop needing bi-directional transport, resources only ever flow one wayat the same time, the throughput and consistency start mattering more and more, since intermediates are integrated into the build you can't extra production elsewhere like you can with trains to smoot out the interruptions in supplyat lower consumption rates, the speed boost from doing train->chest transfer of full hands provides a speed boost that allows the chest buffer to fill up faster than it gets drained onto belts, masking the fact that supply doesn't arrive at a constant rate but in big train-shaped chunksbut at higher consumption rates trains get emptied faster and faster, increasing the relative time they spend arriving at and leaving from a station compared to being serviced by loaderseventually, they can no longer keep up>multi-tile storage unitsilos
>>569541063No, apparently thats just a feature of the game to get you to take a break by making you close and relaunch it to fix.
Just recovered from a death spiral that required unity repairing three nucular reactors. The fragility of the late-game house of cards is insane, if my level 3 belt of copper runs dry for even a moment, it's all over.New zoom level from the patch gives a better overview but I'm disappointed that it chugs even on a 5070Ti

Trying to get back into KSP and actually achieve some cool stuff for once.Barely managed to dock a nearby ship to the KSS 1 so I can deorbit it and make way for the KSS 2. Each one only had RSS on one end of the ship, I forgot ports on the ship so I had to move some with an engineer, and managed to dock with 0.8 monopropellant left.Wondering if I should reuse it as a Minmus orbital depot, but I think I'd rather make a new one for that too.
Well the station exploded while I was trying to do some more construction, I think parts still have collision while they're in your 'hand' or something and I punched it in half by mistake.Don't have a save and I don't have the heart to try docking again, time for another break.Did get the KSS 2 into space though.
>>569593427if you can wait a monthyou can play 2.1
>>569569526>increasing the relative time they spend arriving at and leaving from a station compared to being serviced by loadersyou know you can set train limits to more than 1, right?if you want high throughput, build a couple waiting bays and suddenly the trains only need to move 20 tiles to arrive at the stop
>>569607317They said they'll release it after the summer
>>569608635The throughput of a station is still limited by the inserters and how quickly trains can move in.Again, what problem do trains even solve? Except for moving scrap on Fulgora and tungsten on Vulcanus before foundation is unlocked, they're strictly optional and worse than laying down some belts in mid-late game.

Are there any Engineering Games where building semi-realistic pipes and plumbing system is a major game mechanic? By semi-realistic I mean I want a game where you need more power to pump liquids uphill and can let them flow downhill without power intuitively, instead of pipes basically being slow-motion teleporters like your average minecraft mod. Having pipe length matter or resistance to fluid flow would be nice too.
>>569617986NTA, but when im building personal equipment, or expanding the factory.science is the only thing that doesn't spike.but if im putting together a nuclear reactor, i suddenly need literally millions of copper plates, that previous went unused.the trick is to KNOW im going to need that, and just trickle build the reactors as i plan it, same with shit like the steel spike for building an oil outpost, or the stone spike when its time to expand the rail network.there are spikes, but pretending its a surprise is retarded, you KNOW plastic is going to be needed in huge amounts for red chips for blue science, and then again for the LDS for yellow sci, and blue chips AND LDS for space sci.
>>569613194Personal fav. There's an rts style campaign mode and an adventure mode, and we've had a number of egg tournaments over the years.
>>569619329It's quantum fluid, exists everywhere in the pipe at once until you actually use it, then it's been at that outlet all along.Anyway that's Factorio and Stationeers, though Stationeers at least has vapor pressure and phase change in pipes. ONI and COI the fluid actually exists, but pipes are one-directional and move fluid at a constant rate without any pumps. DPS doesn't even have pipes. Satisfactory kinda has this with "max elevation" listed on pipe output buildings and when exceeding that you need a repeater pump, but it's a messy simulation there's always problems with it. Workers&Resources actually does this for drinking water and sewage, but it's hard to play around with it. You spend 20 minutes building your water tower first, then realize there's not enough pressure in the system. There's probably some hyper-autism game out there focusing on pipes specifically.
>>569613194I can see the appeal, just wish it took the ship building UI from any other game instead of using its own mess. And a little more guidance on the campaign map mode for the first playthrough.

Am I missing something? Gleba does seem to be that bad, and you don't even need to make much on it, just mash, jelly, bioflux, nutrients, eggs and the science packs. It's just having extra inserters to remove any spoilage here and there. Hell, a heating tower ensures eggs never hatch if you make too many.
>>569665414No, people are just really bad at the game.
>>569665414People just see a bunch of timers in a game that didn't really have any before and shit themselves
>>569665414I'm really just thinking it's a case of initial trauma response, gleba is very different from the other planets and the only one with an actual timer, and you have the chance to actually screw up things unlike fulgora and vulcanus. That and it challenges you by needing to play differently in a game where you usually overproduce.I'm guessing everyone's first playthrough was kind of a mess and it stuck because brains work that way. But overall yes, it's incredibly simple once you understand what you need to do.
>>569656902No, that's what it says. I guess they intend to overhaul some of the older sprites before switching the game to maintenance mode. Should be nice I hope, I don't think anything looks particularly bad in Factorio and I wasn't really expecting a change like this anymore.

>>569617986>Also am I to understand that you set up oil processing on the patch? Why are you retardedTry reading>>>set up an outpost next to the only oil patch on the map that's over 1k% yieldEvery other patch had 4 wells or fewer and less than 400% yield. And we had trains set up anyway so it's just a matter of carting the actual resources we needed over to the base instead of awkwardly mashing the oil processing into the base.
haha, whoopsiesAbout to start playing with thermodynamics, wish me luck. No clue how to math it out. I want to run cool salt sludge through a room pumped full of cool steam to get water from the steam, then run some O2 pipes through the salt sludge tank to cool down the gas from an electrolyzer setup so it doent cook my base when I pump the O2 into it.
>>569687459Also I imagine you're gonna say some stupid shit to the tune of >why don't you just cart the oil to the base if you have a train network?Because A) we needed the products immediately, and B) by virtue of the fact that we have a train network, I can just cart crude oil from the other wells to that outpost when it starts running dry. The location is an entirely moot point when you have trains.
>>569688623Huh, I would've expected it to stop working underwater like most devices. So what, this way some negligible amount of cooling leaks into the water? Or is the water near freezing and saving some of that 120w the fridge normally needsI just place the fridge inside some U-shaped tiles, it naturally accumulates CO2 which slows spoilage

>>569693339Good evening.
>>569665414what you missed was going into it blind.you heard the stories of spoilage, and nutriants, and im sure you've seen some space age content online, so when you landed on gleba, you know waht gleba was about.when i landed on gleba i had done fulgora, and a friend had done vulcanus and told me some of it, so i knew fulgora, and had some idea about vulcanus, and other than knowing about the idea that some items spoil from fish on nauvis i had no clue about what was coming, so when i landed with a few assemblers and a starter set of belts and inserters, i had no way of knowing i was setting my self up for disaster by harvesting ALL the becteria, trees and rafts i could find to take stock of the idea of the plane, because by the time i had done so, set up starter solar, and gotten a landfill setup going, i was left with half spoiled everything, so actually learning what the flow was was a massive pain.any nutrients i made were half spoiled, so by the time i had the nutriants to unlock the trigger tech, it was spoiled, all my jellynuts and yamako spoiled with barely any seeds, since i was mashing them as needed, without knowing i was fucking myself over.so by the time i actually had all the basic setup trigger recepies unlocked, i had fuck all to actually kick off the process.and i didn't understand the farming land types, so i ended up with a tiny little farm where 2 biomes met, and tried to build there, so i had MAYBE 6 jelly nut and 4 yamako trying to feed a factory, so some things would sit waiitng for mash, while all the jelly was spoiling, because i was afraid of wasting it, so it would make half spoiled flux, and half spoied nutriants, etc.as soon as i KNEW i could trash everything and as long as i had mashed or jellied the fruit i would be seed positive, and that the point was throughput, not production, it clicked and gleba was fun.but that took 2 playthroughs.you're missing the challenge of ignorance, and i pity you for that.
>>569665414The hard part comes from trying to set it up blind. Typically the planet is really easy if you just do a little bit of pre-planning before plugging in your fruit and nuts, and having a system for getting (partially-)spoiled items out of the system so they don't clog your belts or affect your bottom line. Some people don't deal with nutrients properly and it affects how spoiled their agrisci is when it gets back to Nauvis, and those are the people that complain about the planet the most. Also, it does get a little bit tougher if you're making the planet completely standalone (doing bacteria cultivation + making rocket parts), but not by too much. And that's entirely optional since you can just import the rocket parts anyway.

>>569732408I just want to mess around with the cool stuff in interstallar extended mod. But they're too strong for the vanilla star system, and every planet pack brings new and exciting bugs.
>>569731292you must understand anon.i played blind glebas my second planet, all i knew of the planets was the names from ingame, my first planet was Fulgora, and my mates was vulcanus, butwe purposefully didn't spoil as much as possible, like i never told him WHAT you were recycling on fulgora, so he was mad when he found out yellow science was basically free there, and even madder that heavy oil WAS free, and i was equally mad when i found out about foundries, and even madder when i found out about INFINITE FREE IRON AND COPPERbecause when i landed and found out about the ore bacteria, i thought the point of gleba was that it was the infinite material planet, but you were limited by time before things turned into base materials again, so the goal was to be efficient.so by the time i hit steady science i was REARING to get to vulcanus and the 4th planet.the reason i say it took 2 runs is because my first run i literally did not understand gleba, and on my second space age go i figured out the "always flowing into the fire" flow, and instead of gleba being something to struggle to get exact ratios, it was something to just mass produce plastic for vulcanus, infinite agri science (that goes into the burner, rotten first, as soon as i have a rocket full) and literal tons of stack inserters.and now i have a lot of fun whenever i get to set up the bacteria farms, because once they're done, i basically have everything i need for the factory already automated, and its just about routing efficiency and keeping up the flow.geba is fun now.

Advoce for MineMogul: it is technically feasible to just drop stuff straight down like a waterfall, but when objects fall too fast they'll clip through belts even on high framerates (maybe physics is calculated at a lower fixed rate? Don't know) so it's better in the long run to have a slower stepped descent if you're trying to save horizontal space and don't want to be cleaning up constantly

>>569742245>bro really out there playing k2se with bottleneck not lite
Gleba's "issue" is that its gimmick actually provides an active degree of challenge compared to the other inner planets. Vulcanus has no active threats and can shit out infinite and effectively free metals. Fulgora is a question to which the answers are 'build more recyclers' or 'build more accumulators.'With Gleba, not only are you confronted with the spoilage mechanic, but with threats of deadlocks all over your supply chain and an active threat from the pentapods, which are much more of a pain in the ass to deal with than the biters. To top it off, the simple solution to Gleba's spoilage problem (terminating all downstream production with spoilage conversion and burning) requires producing a larger spore cloud than necessary, exacerbating the pentapod issue. tl;dr t's a fun planet.
>>569750513It's the only fun planet imo once you know what you're doing. Doesn't seem like SA was meant for multiple playthroughs.
>>569665414Someone shit at the game here: It really does seem that bad. >>569761001You made your original post poorly. The way you quoted implies that you thought "i pity you for that" was poor English as opposed to the rest of the post. Which would indeed imply that you have poor English. The fact that, after being insulted about it, you still don't realize this implies far worse about you.

Because it is taught to pretty much every individual from the first to the third world that has ever seen the inside of an education facility it has pretty much devolved into a pidgin language in many places. It's not a serious language anymore. "Dah bih gah" is a sentence.

>>569781450Retard trying to beat SA for the first time here:It's amazing for some space platform components like the grabbers and it's neat having a stronger mech than normal. Otherwise I can take it or leave it, but actually good players might really like it I don't know.
>>569782639>Not as replayable as base factorioWhy do you think that?

>>569784043i'm not clearing ten gorillion biters for an iron patch
>>569784948Or mods. Which I think is the main issue. Mods in SA are afraid to touch the expansion planets and leave them mostly unchanged, so you're just doing the same thing all over again.
>>569783495Scaling up in base factorio postgame is much smoother and involves your factory growing larger while you manage the logistics. Scaling up in space age is all about direct insertion, and your limiting factors are much more nebulous things like ship designs (if you're doing research prod). The way built-in prod stacks means that your factory is so small in most areas, but you have a few bottlenecks without the overpowered machines that stand out even more.In general, resources just don't ever feel like a limitation. Even when you set up quality, it's not about getting more mines and then managing logistics to get that in the base - it's just a ship dropping infinite legendary ore from space.>>569784697Yeah, SA has some great features like the mech suit. how do you /egg/heads handle early nullius power, windmill spam and compression batteries? solar heaters? all of the above?

>>569830374don't get too hypedthe final fff is going to be upon us before long
>>569802319nah, py isn't anywhere near programmer art. it's too detailed and consistent
>>569824641basically yeahwindmills and electrolytic batteries at first because you don't have anything else, and then as much thermal solar as i needed once aluminum and rubber were actually set upi like thermal solar better because it's more consistent and naturally batteries itself via steamtanks, but windmills are a lot cheaper for the same output
>>569824641all of the aboveno reason to ever stop stamping windmills everywhere as you build your factory, they stay very relevant even late gameadd h/o or nitrogen batteries and solar as needed (solar is itself a kind of battery that complements wind perfectly)
>>569824641I set up a solar thermal assembler the second I have access to them and slap down a bunch whenever I need power. Each heat exchanger has a tank on it so it buffers steamI also have a grid-aligned windmill blueprint and once I can make pylons I just smear that shit all over the map. I build around them if I can but don't cry over tearing the occasional one down. Once you get roboports you can indefinitely expand your windmill farm. With those and real solar I didn't ever need to set up geothermal which is nice because I needed all the gas I could get and was too lazy to go set up more wells
>>569833142Yeah, you need vents for sulfuric way more than you need power. Constant power is nice but not that important.Later on I built a compressed oxygen/hydrogen battery on a geothermal vent to take care of 1.5GW spikes with 256 open turbines. 6 geothermal plants x 60MW of constant heat energy in a much smaller footprint than its solar equivalent.Compressed O/H is actually incredibly dense energy storage, but it's not far from physics in terms of research.
>>569824641thermal solar is just shit IMO, at least at T1, too low thermal capacity to have a big array with neighbor bonus, requires specific spaceI just spammed windmills + compression batteries + electrolysis batteriesonce you have substations 2, you can fill in windmill farms with PV solar
>>569824641Also depends on how early. Geothermal is 8-10MW per fumarole, and volcanic gas is only needed in tiny quantities early on. I spent some time driving around to find more, greatly reduced the needed storage capacity. For storage I did electrolysis and also compressed the resulting hydrogen. Needs purple tech iirc.
time to engineer
Is it better to grind for quality with ingredients or just recycle the end product
>>569859143literally just do fulgora quality
>>569859143It's "better" to do ingredients. But that bloats your entire factory to 5x size, plus quality filtering splitters at each stage, so nobody actually does it.I just put quality on the last crafting step in my mall, when it becomes available. And later recycler reroll for specific things.
>>569859143Neither. It's best to just do the specific strats for base resources, then just craft whatever you want at guaranteed legendary
>>569810741Yes, sadly that's a big limitation because wube consists of retards. There even was a recent thread on the forums addressing it. It was locked and ignored. But editing one line in the info.json of a mod is still easier than manually patching the whole mod.
>>569817418>is there a particular mod / issue youre running into?If I knew it I would remove it. I had a few throw up errors and I resolved them or uninstalled them(Nice that CKAN will track mods only installed for other mods and removed their dependencies too). But now there's no real obvious issues, just painfully long loading times from making the game 5x the filesize. It doesn't really crash that often, I can go hours without one, the issue is that when it crashes I have to sit through a lot of loading screens again.I might try removing all the graphics mods since I don't mind if the game is ugly and idk which but one of the mods makes the game look washed out and kind of ugly.
>>569347770 damn my train upgrader mod didn't copy interrupts and I never noticed until the first train ran out of fuel in the middle of the road stopping the traffic and bringing the entire factory to a standstill but luckily it was a quick fix. sometimes it takes a catastrophe for you to notice something.
>>569824641in my case it was wind + o2+h2 batteries, then wind + solar + boilers with steam batteries, then wind + solar + stirling with heat tank batteries and that's all you're going to need. I don't think nuclear is worth is since solar is free and space is infinite.
>>569866073I would also go with stirling instead of regular turbines. Pumping water is reliant on power, which then requires a separate/prioritized circuit. And it also doesn't tile well with nullius' pipe length limitations.

>>569892336but there's nothing new in it
>>569859143It depends on what you're willing to set up and what you're willing to put into it. Upcycling the base materials will get you what you want more consistently, but you can plug in simple washing setups (quality bruteforcers) into pretty much any factory that has bots or a main bus. Bruteforcing it will obviously cost you more materials, but you can just build the washing setups and forget about it until you actually need what you're making. And if you need a lot of it, you can just build more washing setups. The way I see it, >I am handling Quality on Vulcanus (infinite materials) or Nauvis (infinite materials with mining prod)Do a washing setup>I am handling Quality on FulgoraQuality in your drills, quality in your recyclers, wash anything that isn't yellow at the end of it.

>>569893308If you have adjustable transformers or mini transformers mod, you can use one of those to limit the input to the smelter instead. Give it a separate battery bank that will trickle charge and store enough for one cycle

finally got around to nullius, how do i into geothermal power?stirling engines look fuckesxpensive, and given its 80% instead of 90%, feels like closed turbines are much more worth it, given that the pure water is reused anyway, and filtering that much water isnt that expensive power-wise, to counter the extra 10%
>>569895706Do what you want. If you can drag water to the geothermal vents and want to bother setting up a more complicated system, go ahead.
>>569895706expensive means nothing given the scale you're expected to reach, and I see it as it easier to find more vents than to chase a 10% improvement on the existing onesbut since it's without enemy pressure, there are no wrong answers

First attempt at exploiting a geyser and using electrolyzers. Shipping brine from the pool through radiant pipes to cool down the electrolyzer room and heat it up enough to desalinate, then shipping it down to the resiviour for the electrolyzers. Each electrolyzer takes 600kg of water/cycle, and the desalinator can make 2100kg of fresh water from brine/cycle, so I have 2 electrolyzers running at all times until a fluid sensor in the brine resiviour turns green and switches on the 3rd electrolyzer and 4th O2 pump. Got a space heater in the desalination chamber that kicks on if it drops below 10C, but will probably put an inline heater and temp checker on the pipeline feeding it just to make sure the H2O doesnt freeze and bust my shit as soon as it outputs from the desalinator just to be safe.

Gleba is now self-sufficient, and I have no idea why I bothered. You only need to launch what? carbon fiber now and then and the agriculture science? Is there a way of making the bots/inserters only slap the fresh stuff into the rockets? I'm constantly paranoid the old science will be crammed into the rocket and give me a ton of useless spoilage when the platform gets back.
>>569982841>carbon fiber now and then and the agriculture scienceAnd Stack Inserters. And later Bioflux, for use in biter eggs.Inserters have settings for "most spoiled first" and "freshest first", that's about it.
>>569984207Ah, well I have four silos with fast building rockets so it should be fine. Aquilo is next, and I assume it's going to be the hardest being twice as far away.

I found a really good automall here https://factoriobin.com/post/6ndw8xMuch better concept than other autocrafters, it simply has a decider combinator with all the recipe ingredients pre-loaded so it can't stall. Then it just picks one recipe at random.Getting shit to work recursively was such a pain, I gave up on my design. I still wanted one for when the update drops to build new space platforms in orbit, it reduces the required rocket launches by a lot.
>>569977208i got back into factorio and started space age after playing endfield
Two more bits of Mogul advice:1. Don't sleep on the 'dev items', the packager adds a 5% sell bonus on everything you put in it and saves a shitload of physics object counts if that's lagging your game. Only issue is that the boxes are pretty big and can't go though sorters, so plan ahead2. If you're having trouble with batches of ingots not fitting into rod extruders, put the belt through a sorter first so they get 'filtered' into single file
>>569977529Yeah but I never played these types of games. But after playing Endfield I liked the factory building in it but wanted more. So finally decided I will probably like Factorio.
>>569982841>Is there a way of making the bots/inserters only slap the fresh stuff into the rockets?Yeah it's called constantly cycling your agricultural science. I have mine setup to constantly destroy the oldest science when the box exceeds a platform's worth>But your spore cloudDon't care. I like seeing Pentapods and if they break through that was my fault.

Cut it real close, but got it running... for now... Have everything on automation sensors so theyre not turned on unless theres enough gas density to make it worth it, but theres still some occasional overload on thw circuit. But now I can get the refined copper for that without suffocating (even if Im gonna have to build temp hydrogen skimmer airlocks to crack it open again). Few cycles have gone by with no "not producing enough oxygen" warnings, which is nice. Apparently 5 algae diffusers isn't enough for 10 dupes because of how slowly the air spreads out in this game.If it werent for the overloading circuit thing, pretty sure I could just afk forever now. I could run out of dirt, but my hatch ranches will hit max pop before then so we'd still have a surplus of kcals if I did.

>>570072548>more transformersI wasnt using any transformers. Just one big wire and hoping enough stuff wasn't turned on at once. A massive plate of sketti that was only 1 noodle. Well, 3 noodles. The main base was 1 noodle, the electrolyzer setup was a seperate noodle, as was what powered the smelter and desalinator setup. Due to my base's haphazard design and surrounding terrain, setting up actual power distro using transformers would be a massive pita to route. And like you said, I already got hydrogen in my base. Mainly because I didn't design the electrolyzer setup to be spacious enough to let gasses settle properly befor hitting gas pump, but that same compact design is why I didnt have filters in it. Basically, shits all fucked and fixing it is a massive pita that requires multiple other fixes to fix what needs to be fixed because I tried to fix it. Got through the early game super easy, but transitioning to mid when I was haphazardly building stuff for the currant need left it a mess to unfuck and employ proper power distro. Im just chalking it up to a learning lesson and designing my bases going forward with a disignated power distro column and my electrolyzer setups with failproof filtering that doesnt bet on gas mass.

Once you get a steady source of steel pray you find a metal volcano and exploit it asap. A steam turbine or two and an aquatuner is almost overkill but stupidly safe and hard to fuck up. A steady renewable source of literally any metal is amazing because of how much power, work, and resources it saves in the long run.

>>570211915That still works? There was talk of Nullius blocking that at one point.
>>570236326You might just be thinking about the mod where manually voiding or deconstructing a full tank of fluid causes it to explode. People called it a Nullius requirement as a jokeHowever if you manually flush a tank of chlorine you are a coward
>>570235895You can't really do that with Nullius since most of its fuels have a spent result that needs recycling. So once a specific train is on a specific fuel loop, it HAS to be on that loop FOREVER - or until you manually rearrange it onto a different fuel loop and ensure that its spent fuel is cleaned up correctly. Otherwise you eventually end up fucked with something clogging in your fuel resupply and you get a full train network crash.(And yes; that IS worse than a power blackout. Trust me. I know. From fucking experience ...)

>>570265676Constant meat grinder. If the Pentapods get unmanagable I'll just use more gun
>>570262918It does not>>570264673Generally no, but Cerys requires a little bit of manual intervention after you unlock the Radiative Tower technology on Aquilo. Clearing that lets you move the Fulgoran Radiative Towers that are scattered along the moon's surface, which lets you uniformly space out their effects so that you can use almost every inch of the planet (or every inch if you aren't an autistic retard like me that wants them uniformly spaced out). Only catch is that you can't move them by bot, so you HAVE to go back if you want them moved. That being said, I just remotely control spidertrons and roboport networks from Cerys in my solo save. Not because I need to be there since spacing things out, but because I don't need to be on the other planets.
