The Middle IDs focus on one thing and one thing only. When they do their counter, if there's 6 purple skills in a row or more, they do their S3 instead of a regular counter, and get buffs from that, so you want either IDs with purple skills in common attacks or defense skills (basically all the other IDs here minus Gregor) or an ID guaranteed to be so slow/fast that they won't cut the chain of purple attacks (Gregor, as being slow is like his thing)
