Time for me to admit it.I started with nu gen...And I think oldgen was "better"None of the games are really that hard as most of the difficulty is the result of you not knowing how to play or poke the monster without eating shit instantly, nu monhun is easier but primarily due to the hunter being given crystal meth and 10 pounds of coke, which none of the monsters were really designed around that, that's why Rise G Rank tends to have more spastic monsters, they need to in order to combat how busted you are, you simply have to many options, yeah it can be fun but I really do like the limitations the hunters had before it felt a bit more engaging. And GU really did have the best first large monster hunt in Great Maccao, perfectly teaches you how to play the game, punishing you from over extending and poor positioning while still being easy enough for players bashing their skulls into to figure out that they need to plan they're approach. I could also Bulldrome does this too but in worse way.Cephadrome is an underrated master piece of a monster design and fight, and I aspire to be half the man he is.
