The biggest problem in a nutshell with Endfield's gacha at the moment isn't any one thing, but the simple fact that for the average person, regardless of how you rolling experience went, you still feel like you lose. Getting lucky never feels like a true lucky break (i.e. getting a character early bricks your arsenal tix stash for going after the sig weapon, so your option is to continue rolling anyway)

I don't get why some people wig out over Endmin knowing Kung Fu. She's a swordmaster in the game, and her primary fighting style is about flinging chunks of cancer rock around. Learning hand-to-hand fighting is a natural complement, providing protection for if you're disarmed and the enemy closes the distance. She's already sufficiently physically conditioned, else she wouldn't be swinging that sword around - at that point, it's just learning a few basic moves.We also don't have any evidence that she's especially good at it - she was Mi Fu's training partner, sure, but that's VERY different from actually using it in a fight. Pass is definitely better in Endfield since NTE uses the shitty Hoyo copy that every other game does which is one thing I dislike about it.Endfield is my third Gacha style game and it has the worst feeling gacha system I've ever tried but NTE feels acceptable even if I dislike gambling mechanics I think they are a necessary evil. They can be fun if you are given enough free pulls to get characters because they can earn money through dupes and cosmetics.Paying 200 dollars per character is pretty insane so I expect that level of content from the game or at least filler pulls so we don't have to pay that every banner.
