It highlights one major problem Destiny 2 has with its story, that being that there's an insane amount of filler that can easily be cut without really impacting anything, except for the 10-20% that they include in seasonal stories which is then cut from the game with nothing tying expansions together for a new or lapsed player. And being told to look at a wiki or watch cutscenes or story summaries on YT is not a good excuse at all no matter how hard Bungie or the community tries to spin it as.

Reality of the situation is Destiny is too risky of a thing to take a chance on and they pissed all the money on frivolous shit.
