Thoughts on Thaumaturgy? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57138I'm using most of the simonrim suite aside from his, mostly because I feel like it makes enchanting worse than in vanilla. I really like having 100% spell cost reduction, but simon removed it with Thaumaturgy, which is a redflag imo. Normally, I would just move on and use another mod like say Summermyst. But so many "simonrim" patches are built around Thaumaturgy, which is quite frustrating, when you just want the patch for mysticism, blade and blunt, or adamant. So for consistency in my game, downloading thaumaturgy would be ideal...but I'm not sure if it's worth it.For any of you who have used it, did you have fun with enchanting while it was installed?

For example my addiction rates are set a lot higher, I have some of the more aggressive higher addiction effects off so it doesn't make it impossible to play around. There's also a slider in there somewhere that will give you a small chance of going stage four insta addicted. I keep it on for muh immersion but I highly recommend turning it off if you have defeat or some other sexlab mod that uses that mod

For context, 1 large mod, like Bruma or DAc0da, costs ~$5 with v3, but with 2.5 turbo it's half the cost if you don't need the higher quality. I don't really want to end up spending $100 in a month on it.

I finished the main quest once in 2011. Now again I finally brought myself to play through the game instead of jerking off on side quests. I played hardcore ironman with ban on enchanting+alchemy and no potion pickups either. The most fun I've had in a long time when it forced me to take every fight seriously.
