Hit a brick wall in SSF with ED/Contagion. Already got all the chaos nodes on the tree that are accessible and the close by spell damage nodes. Now the only way to increase my damage is to find gear which is at the whims of RNG. If I was another build I could start getting crit nodes or cast speed nodes or penetration nodes etc, but with chaos I'm literally stuck at the mercy of RNG. I didn't think this one through. I don't have the dps to advance in maps

Basically just filling the two chokepoints with AOE.I also have knockback support on those minions and they make a ground effect so the ground effect keeps them stuck at the chokepoint. Maybe find some way to do a similar thing with your build. Some kind of persistent skill that you can support with knockback that you can drop on one of the chokepoints when you go mop up the other one.You can use V hotkey to hit the skills without having to interrupt your damage to reach over and click on them.

I play SSF and I am looking for some build ideas. I really like being slow and playing with slow but powerful abilities I guess. Granted, the game doesn't always flow like that but that is what I enjoy. I normally play maces and melee. However, I am looking for a spell oriented build that plays like slams I guess. Is there anything to make that work? So big spells that take awhile to setup or land etc. I also wanted to play around with ward and the kalguuran skills a bit too.
