The funny thing about Yrliet is that she doesn't even make up for her bad behavior mechanically. She's the worst class, and it doesn't matter if you can do several hundred damage in one shot if Argenta is bursting an entire volley across half the screen that does 2000 damage to every single person in the cone so she clears the entire room.She says mean things, she gets you sent to rape town because she's incredibly stupid, and she is among the weakest companions, if not the outright actual weakest because at least the other operative Idira is a psyker which is strong.The other controversial characters here, like Arue, Morrigan, Kibbelah, etc, are at the very least strong mechanically even if you don't like them on a personal level. And at the very least, these characters didn't get your entire crew sent to rape town just because they're stupid.Hell, since we're on the topic, it would have been better if Yrliet did it on purpose. If the plot twist was that she wanted to kill some monkeys so betrayed you, that would at least be coherent writing. It would be a betrayal.
