Man I really like Shoki. They did a great job with him, and not just for the one moment - throughout the arc he’s been been a really well done character. Shimotsuna as well has been a top tier villain, and Aran being a questionably motivated third party just fucking things up has just added to it. Consider that in P5 this is the same place in the story where it was Haru and her Dad - if they can keep this up it really’d speak well to P5X’s writing chops.

Akihiko's trial makes him look so damn bad… all enemies are resistant to electric, neither Turbo or Akihiko have the crit rate to down enemies and there's no navigator like Riko or Futaba to help down enemies.
