I am trying to branch out and try something different for once. However, I feel so useless in other realms of playing classes. I basically have always played maces and armor based characters in PoE2. I do want to branch out but I find that I have a hard time trusting other things. For example, I want to try minions / companions but I hate having a mass of minions. I'd rather have like 2-3 really jacked minions but I am not sure what class really leans into that. I wanted to try druid also and try armor / ES gear types but I hear those are incredibly shit right now. I want to try other things but just can't. I always go back to maces and armor on a titan or something. Also play SSF so I feel a bit more limited but its how I enjoy playing. What might you recommend? Here is what I maybe would like to try but don't have more info:1. Talisman based companions / minions? The wolf pack thing looks interesting and I had found that talisman that summons hyenas that I wanted to try.2. Some form of caster. I like remnant gameplay but I don't like spamming spells. I want to drop massive hits but from singular spells. Is that possible?3. I thought about spears but I really like physical damage and spears seem really elemental flavored. I desecrate for mana (and I will get mana at the well because the weight is so high) and then slam with a perfect exalt orb for the rest of my modifiers. Is my build too weak? I don't die often but it took me 10 minutes of fighting to kill the breach xesht boss for the storyline. in SSF. First time fighting him. Killed me once but I found it hard to find a time to actually hit him. Had trouble with the hands popping up and covering what the boss was doing. He wind flicked me many times but I lived. I believe my single target damage is probably incredibly poor. Most of my damage happens when I stun an enemy and that boss has a ton of stun meter.

But like I said if you play regular minions or djinns I don't know how it would work out for you.

Plus gas grenades mostly work via the plagueburst support (to my understanding), you don't need to stack poisons that much for clear.And chayula is mostly about volatility stacking, the ailments thing is secondary. Most people ramp volatility with a minion weapon swap and get like 200% gain as extra chaos.
