(Frankly, the final boss was also notably piss easy compared to Rufo.)Killing off the Distortion at the very end feels like a slap in the face because it makes his plot device attributes even more ridiculous when it's establishing new lore that Fathoms-entities can just wander out and merc people. Maybe this is setup, but it's a contrived move that's convenient for the author, but removes interesting possibilities from the story itself. Good boss music though. Studio EIM keeps doing well.
