Shams + Heshan + Yserinde + Nydia + Clara + Selina is seeming like a fairly solid team so far (forego Selina if only 5 allowed). Shams + Heshan can fight as a pair, Yserinde + Nydia can fight as a pair, and Clara can go where needed (usually backup Union units or solo hold chokepoints if required).

They could have had the player's legendary roster continue to appear/cycle through lines randomly indefinitely. It would be trivial to add more lines to the list and would make Elysium feel more lively. If they had more resources to spare they could have made them walk around a little town and play corresponding animations at interaction points making it feel as if you are populating it with your expanding roster. It could have potentially onboarded a lot of players that aren't strictly into tactical battles and enjoy slow-life character collecting aspects.
