So you'll be playing tons of discard fodder like Rollback and Black Goat which just eats space that you'd prefer to use on handtraps. I also don't find their own traps particularly impressive. They're not as good as Dtails for example. Same goes for the Synchros.

The general purpose boardbreakers all fuck with them heavily like Eclipse/Superpoly/Crown/HFD/LS/evenly or they at least trade with one of the two negates so you can play. Hope this helps...

But then if all the new cards are high rarity (for context, in the most recent side set that got 5 cards of support for tellar/shaddoll/dragunity, shaddoll and tellar both had all 5 of their new cards made secret rare) then getting a box is probably gonna suck ass. All 5 of toon's new cards are good. At minimum, that would mean 10 cards required at most likely highest possible rarity in the box. Depending on the type of box, its either gonna be all ultras and secrets OR rares/supers/ultras/secrets. The latter is PARTICULARLY bad, because you're only going to get 4 secrets per box. Even if you buy 2 boxes and somehow were to pull exclusively toon high rarity cards (this will NOT happen because sidesets are notorious for having certain high rarity cards shortprinted compared to others) you would STILL need to buy singles.
