The patch on Yozora's shirt the skull with crown and keyblades is like the skull and crossbones on clothes in FFXV. Regis wore it. And Noctis did too. Obviously this is because Roen uses that motif a lot. But Lucis was also a nation of reaper worshippers, more than likely they specifically worshipped Etro the Goddess of Death, and they had lots of death iconography. Yozora has a skull with a crown and crossed keyblades, The skull straight up has Sora's hair on it, and the crossed keyblades=the X-blade, and of course X/Chi stands for death. Sora=Etro?

My favorite part of the trailer was Sora getting flung through a window, it was violent without being bloody and gory. So my question is, was that something that they never really did much because of the tech or was it like an art direction thing? Because in Back Cover Aced has visible bruises, in KH3 Axel gets smashed into a boulder(one placed in that level solely for that purpose) but those were honestly like one offs. Reminder that Terra could've regained his body by himself but Aqua helped Terraanort disguised as Terra (who would've been exposed if Aqua could notice the keyblade but she couldn't notice Ven with the X-Blade) beat up Cum Guardian. Terra wanted to flee to the Realm of Darkness not to save Aqua but because her recent helping of domestic abuse was too much and he wanted an escape.
So why do Ansem and Xemnas have powers unlike Xehanort or Terranort? Old Nort doesn't do as much darkness blasts, he just uses the same ice, fire, and keyblade swings. Neither of them use red lightsabers with the closest being YX. All the other Org13 Nobodies have similar powers if not identical.

The new trailer reminded me of the theory I had about Quadratum being the "Nobody" of the Kingdom Hearts world created when the world was plunged into darkness following the Keyblade War. It parallels Sora becoming a Heartless in KH1, creating Roxas but then being restored by Kairi. Only Ephemer and the Dandelions restored the world that was covered by darkness. But similar to Roxas, Quadratum still exists out there. So maybe the arc could be about like MoM wanting to reunite the two realities in order to fix the world and defeat Darkness like Roxas had to return to Sora. I feel like Nomura touched on these concepts with KH2 and The World That Never Was being a nobody type world but he was never able to expand that idea much so Quadratum is kind of a do-over. Like how Sora disappearing at the end of KH3 was reusing that idea he had for the end of KH1 from the Beta trailer. idk if they would use the actual Nobody terminology to describe Quadratum though. Maybe Nomura's done with Nobodies/Nothingness now. But Quadratum is a world of neither light nor darkness so technically it is under the same umbrella as Nobodies. Similar to Darkness Quadratum might not have had a concept for the heart but they started growing them along with darkness when keyblade wielders arrived.

Build seems pretty interesting but if it's the MAIN thing battle is built around for KH4 it seems kinda limited. Like if you can switch out keyblades like in Kh3 that helps but still, 2 commands that bare minimum can change into one more command, is not that much. It's kinda like BBS' command styles mixed with situation commands. Now if you have transformations/forms and build is just a supplement that would be crazy but they've never mentioned it.
