Where does damage really come from? I have invested in quite a few damage nodes on tree for my mace build and I still feel like I deal no damage. I am in SSF. From what I gather, my issue is that my gear is really geared towards surviving. I have few deaths and I am level 88. However, I don't understand where damage comes from in this game. Is it truly always flat damage modifiers on rings and amulets and shit? I need my rings for resists and life rolls though. I don't understand how really good builds even res cap themselves if they are all fucking around wearing like 3 uniques etc. Is it actually jewel slots that give a lot of damage also? I only have 3 jewel slots in my whole build.

I will say, the fact titan quest has one continuous area where things respawn when you restart the game made it feel like I wasn't making progress like when you fully clear a map.On the other hand, hand crafted areas look much nicer and have better potential for secrets and interesting interatibles.
