I just have normal exotic berseker gear. How does WvW work? Will I gimp myself if I go with exotic gear in there with no chance to win any encounter, or is my gear automatically ''bumped'' to perfect stats in pvp combat?What are my options - grind ascended gear, or make pvp only character? >>570439972pvp is available from lvl 2 on any character and scales everything. WvW uses equipment and level you have on your char, no scaling. You don't need ascended to play comfy, same as in pve. Berserkers will get you one-shotted all day. Usable with very long range attacks while running with a blob of other players to farm exp with aoes, but it's not a sustainable set. You can buy cheap-ish stat selectable gear from wvw merchants themselves for some gold and currency, if you have spare. Best general stat is Celestial.

I think Tequatl's stun animation lasts too long after it gets hit with the mega laser. I still have some achievements to do that require Teq to attack, but after the first phase he gets burned to the next phase before his animated ends. I'm not saying increase his health or anything, but cutting the stun animation in half would probably allow one or two attacks before the phase gets pushed without making players feel weaker.
