Another round of tackle tackle headbutt practice done.I feel a lot better about doing the combo when I free myself from the pressure of tracking every total attempt versus the number of successes. Easily felt like I was getting the combo over half the time. Still difficult timing, but I feel a lot more comfortable with it.What also helps is I learned the combo is doable with short tackle instead of forward tackle. At a minor damage decrease but much more wiggle room with timing.If I had to fire up practice right now and do tackle tackle headbutt 5 times in a row, I feel like I am far more likely to succeed on my first or second attempt than to sit there for a while trying to get it done. Even if I were to do the harder variant with two forward tackles.I feel like I might finally be feeling comfortable enough to start spending most of my time building up the same level of comfort with this combo on the opposite side.As soon as I accomplish that, I can finally focus mostly on learning aegis setups. I was at a tournament with very laggy setups and couldn't do any reaction-based maneuvers like single hit confirms and whiff punishes. This forced me to look elsewhere to assert advantage from neutral that I don't normally use a lot like spending EX for plus frames and staggering my poke up close to fish for counter hits. To my surprise, I went very far in the bracket by going outside of my comfort zone.
