Blacktail is above and beyond every handgun because its pros (Damage, firing speed, small crosshair) overcompensate for its alleged cons (Can't use laser aim? Riot Gun is similar to that when it comes to shotguns, and the first shotgun compared to it is just "Riot Gun but inferior". Everything about the UI is very clearly trying to emulate nu-RE but then the gameplay is just generic looking shooting and it's even described as "Bioshock-like" which I assume means imsim? It has the classic imsim thing of there being random cartons of milk and pieces of cheese in the environment you can eat. I have mixed feelings about Saber so I am cautiously optimistic for this.

>>570871682>>570871490I don't think there is any franchise where canon is more worthless than SH.Literally every game is made by completely different people with next to no involvement with the original materials. The only sort of exception is SH2, but even then basically all the key staff from 1 aside from Owaku (who wasn't as significant to 1 as he was for 2 and especially 3) were gone. Even the Play Novel is more guys who didn't really contribute much or anything at all to SH1 than it is guys like Toyama.But the reason this makes canon worthless is because it's like if Star Wars was just the EU, and you had two dozen different writers all contributing contradictory materials, and all of them are put up as if they're part of one grand tapestry.
